I'd like to give her the "most underestimated player" award at the 10 ball event. Third place, and just great play throughout her match with the Texas Tornado.

Using a high praise phrase in Oregon logger talk:

Angel, you done good!

Angel is one of my favorite people, and definitely one of my favorite players. This was sort of a comeback for Angel. She has had some speed bumps in her career - things that have taken priority over the game of pool (as they should have). She has been working very hard on her game lately with her Dad. It is so good to see her playing - and it so good to see her playing well. Amongst an extremely tough field, she fought her way to where I believe she belongs... amongst the elite.

Yesterday was just one of those days for Angel where nothing positive seemed to materialize for her at the table. We all have days like that - and she just happened to have it happen in front of the pool world on the live stream. Angel is a champion, and she has the guts to go out there on the biggest stage in the world and put all of her emotion, all of her talent, and all of her heart on the line. She does that with an unmatched intensity, positivity, perseverance, and elegance.

Congratulations on a great tournament, Angel! This was just the first step forward!

I had never heard of her before this tournament. Watching her on the live stream she really played well. Very underrated.

This thread is useless without pics :)

Very good showing for Angel. Best tournament I have seen her play. Congrats on a fine showing Angel. Johnnyt

It was the first time I've seen her play but I was pulling for her big time. She looks to be a force in womans pool once she gets more seasoning. I wish her luck.

Where are those two girls who were making so much fund of her last year??!!!!!!!

Eating crow I reckon.

I don't feel like hunting for the posts. Someone please go dig them up.

Angel's hard work has obviously paid off. Yes, she's now joined the ranks of the best women players.

She's come a long way from her Tuesday night tourney at Kolby's days!

I couldn't agree more with everyone in this thread. That was my first time seeing Angel play and I was pulling for her to win her matches. When you can finish third in a field like that you can just as easily win if you get a couple of rolls your way. I hope to see her play again soon.......

I'd like to see them too. IMO, anyone who knows women's pool knows she is a solid pl;ayer...perhaps not the level of Jasmin or Alison, but wo is.

Excellent work, Diveney Sister!

I'm sorry I missed out on seeing her shoot. I've been a long-time Angel fan and predicted long ago she would be among the top women players. It took awhile but she may have finally "arrived".

This weekend was also my first time hearing of her and watching her play. I thought she played well and look forward to seeing more of her matches!

Congratulations to Angel...Great Tournament. Hope to see you at Jesters in Gilbert, AZ.

Here are some pictures of Angel playing, along with a picture of her medal.

Me too, I was very imperssed with how she held up during her match with Kelly Fisher she sure can put on the pressure. Twice Kelly put her on two fouls and both times she double or tripled kicked her way out, Kelly had 3 break and runs, and when she was not running out, she hooke or stuck Angel tough.

I am now a fan of hers for life
