i believe ann made the fellini cases
with bob hemphill

if i am not mistaken, you could get 3 shafts in he original fellini

not separate spaces ,but room

you have a very good case,at the time ann was considered the same, but as time went on
the fellini name aged better

Wow - you are right (just tested it). You have to put the 3rd shaft in with the butt.

The end cap treatment is very different from the Fellini and the Centennial. The dark rings at each end appear to be original, but I've never owned an Ann Gore case and can't find images of the end caps.

Also, it is slightly heavier than my Fellini.

Yes, you can. And you can do that is several of these style cases.

You definitely cannot do that with a Kelli case (By Bill McDaniel). His cases used a smaller tube and a cue with two shafts fits tight enough that you can turn it upside down with the lid off and the cue will not fall out.

.

Scott finds all the cool stuff.

I can't believe what great shape that Gore case is in!

Hey Scott - I had to do some work on it, but it was easy stuff. Spot-dying and light-brown was a perfect match for the dark areas already there.

Ann Gore did indeed make ALLOT of the Fellini cases we
see.

Her namesake, and Manx cases, were made with thicker
walled tubes, and often thicker pieces of leather.
The tops of her cases also fit more snug than a Fellini
I've noticed.

The dark painted trim ring is definitely original, and
not only was for aesthetics, but to seal the seam.
Gives it cool look for sure.

They're pretty hard to come by these days.
You definitely have to know somebody to get your hands
on one.;)

I have an Ann Gore case like yours. The rings are original. She worked for Fellini, but also made her own cases. Yours is in great condition. Congratulations.

i just looked again
all of the Ann gore cases I have had or seen
were exactly like Fellini

tthe latch and rings are new to me

I am no expert,I guess she did different styles

Your case looks very nice

Yes, thanks!

I'm surprised about the thicker leather, but just compared and of course you are correct. The outside width of the Fellini and Ann Gore are exactly the same, so the Fellinis must have a little bit more room.

To my knowledge, she veered away from the Fellini style over to the butterfly latch
so there'd be no misrepresentation between them.
Any Gore cases with the Fellini latch were acknowledged to be made by her, but were
sold as "Fellini" or "Manx" cases.
The cases with her name on the label inside usually had a butterfly latch

Love both the cases. Can I see what the interior looks like on the Ann?

This is a substantive and useful post on Ann Gore Manx cases.
Thanks for taking the time to share, I appreciate it.
BTW, two great cases Scott!

Thanks Frank, for all the great info and for a great deal. The pics did not do it justice and the clean-up was pretty minor. If you need some refurbushing and it is in my wheelhouse, I owe you.
