Beautiful table, I also have an Anniversary but my corner pieces aren't anywhere
near as polished as yours, more like a satin finish. I also don't have the counters
wonder if there were various options available?

Guess what? If you have a good Anniversary you have one of the best pool tables ever made. If all the tournaments weren't on Diamonds I would have an Anniversary in my house. That table you have is HEAVY, with inch and a quarter slate. Real slate! And the frame is massive too.

The Cue ball in Salem, Oregon is ALL old Brunswick...either Anniversary or Century.
I consider myself lucky to be a customer...

There's a 2015 Camaro and then there's a blown '68 Z28... You have a hot rod table for sure!

The counters was an option back then but you had to install them yourself. When I got this table I also received all the original manuals and it shows how and where to install the counters.

Gorgeous table and matching light. About the only thing I would trade my GCII for would be an Anniversary or a GCV.

Annex Billiards in Toronto has 8 Anniversary (12 ft.) snooker tables, more than 50 years old.
Annex is their second home; they were originally in Times Square Billiards.

I'm totally confused. Brunswick says it's one inch slate. Real king cobra says they were all Brunstone and none were real slate. Claims the same is true with the Celebrity. With all due respect to all the varying opinions; WTF???

Mine certainly appears to be slate...

Mr. Fastrs, outstanding job on the table lights !...And Mr. Bob, let me just say, Mr.RKC should certainly know what he's talking about when it comes to pool tables !.....But, in case you haven't noticed..If anyone says "White", Mr. RKC is going to say "Black"!..I have never seen him agree with anyone, on anything!
Yes its irritating, but I'm sure he can't help himself..as it appears to be in his highly oppionated DNA ! :embarrassed2:

Sorry if you are even more confused now, Bob !..You may want to look at some of Mr. Bonds, or Jay's posts....They are much more objective !..If I may add, (despite Mr.RKC's claims,) it does NOT take exceptional skills to operate a screw gun, nor to carry a pool table up twelve flights of stairs, on your back!..:D :o :sorry:

Soooooo nice! I love my Anniversary and will file this idea in my to do drawer! I am sure it was not a cheep project. Did you have the corner pieces plated, or just buffed out? Mine are the dull anodized aluminum, and have wondered how to get the super shine like yours.

Thank you for the kinds words.

I had the factory anodize removed, then I had them polished. You could probably just have them polished but in the past I have found that by not removing the anodize first it sometimes will cause dull spots in the polishing.

I did all the aluminum pieces on the table and the light this way, except for the bands. I had the anodize stripped off of the bands and then clear powder coated.

Fastrs, I expect for you to have everything shined up before my visit tomorrow night.
Nice work. You know I will be writing a report here afterwards. The light really looks beautiful.

P.S. you know I will be taking measurements also.

Awesome light you made there! And the table ain't half bad either.

I wish I'd have thought of it myself, before I built the light for my Anniversary (see my avatar). I went the cheap route, I guess. :embarrassed2:

I've had my Anniversary for about 8 years and I love it.

That light is just gorgeous, sir! Well done!
