Hi Steven, yes it is a truely GEM you have now and I really hope this will stay loooong in your small Collection of fine Cues.

as for the wrap, I like only the real Lizzard wrap from one Body, I don't like the Teju as I have one on my Vollmer and it feels much difference as the Belly.
By the way the Gold accents are the Nutz, hope you play with as Donnie said, it is a shame as the most BB Cues are in the Closet:(

I am not up to date on what is happening at Black Boar
has Tony taken on a partner, a son or grandson

Barry has Jimmy ready in the wings,Tony is also preparing the next generation.Pete Tonkin mentioned his son

I think its great for father son traditions to continue

My wife and I own and operate a small private school in Dallas
and our daughter has been with us from the first
so I know something of family traditions

It is great to see Steve is so excited about his cue and the relationship that he built with Tony in the process


I remember trying to trade my 1967 Triumph motorcycle to Tony for a cue.
He didn't want another Triumph ,but before we were through talking,he invited me to come to the shop,hit a few balls and offered to make adjustments on my cue to suit my game

That is the kind of person who deserves to be successful,worthy of our trust,and deserving of the fame and higher prices

Speaking of those prices,I am willing to take a $50 sweat bet that this cue will be sold at a profit within 12 months

It is very nice of you for your kind words to Steve. But there are two things that stick out to ME.

#1 - The "big" guys do not care about buying this cue from Steve. They can just have Tony & Donny make a bigger and better version of it. Because that is what happens, in reality.


#2 - If Steve decides to sell it, for any reason whatsoever - it truly is his business. No need to offer public bets on how long he will hold it for...



Besides, I got the under on 1 year...:p
 
Sweet cue Steve. It is absolutely gorgeous. You are a lucky man to own it. Tony does things with cues that nobody else can. Take care buddy.

Dam...this BB is stunning...sure there's been bigger ones that has appeared on AZ but this one is gorgeous and one that I would use as a player....if I had it that is......now it's just depressing........

Yes there sure are monsters out there and I love them, just have to say I admire all their work with a passion but...
When designing this cue I wanted fancy, not over the top or gaudy, elegant, something that makes ya go "wow",but not plain either, with some original design the way the inlays were done via 18kt gold, "most importantly a player"!looks like I got what I asked for and then some
 
i was having fun jibing steve

i don't intend to take a $1500 bet
I also thought that Tony only did 1 of on his cues
and that even if someone could order another big or even bigger cue
that this one would still attract a lot of interest because it is unique
and beautiful

also this happens to me everytime i get a cue,i start out thinking i will never sell
but then along comes someone who persuades me

that is all part of the magic of the cue
at least to me

The $50 is still open(one time sweat bet)

I have been known to lose before

That's an awesome cue. Pics don't show... Are the shafts ferrule-less? Tony still big on doing those?

Mdavis I chose ivory ferrules for this cue but yes there is a third shaft ferrule-less in line

Everything I have is for sale for the rite price even the King of Kings but you know pockets will have to be deep to pry that one away.
