Lol :p :D

Seriously, though...I'm sure he's not gonna stick with a Cuetec...lol.

Has he played any tourney since the announcement?

I wouldnt be surprised to see Earl playing with a Mike Gulyassy before too long. They are both in the Carolinas have known each other for years. Mike makes great cues too. I just cant see Earl using the Sledgehammer for jumping tho...lol. JMO.

WHAT's EARL PLAYING WITH?

It's not common knowledge but Earl names his cues. Don't know who made it (working feverishly to find out) but I heard he's named it "elizebeth ."

In addition to donning his gloves, glasses, weights, tape and brace prior to playing he also uses an old popsickle stick for a splint:)

I'm interested in knowing this myself. When I saw him in Greenville, SC a few weeks ago, the cue he was playing Monica with did not look like any cuetec I've seen him play with. Keep in mind, if the info about him being dumped by cuetec was in Billiards Digest, it took place some time before the magazine came out, so Earl may not have been playing with one at that time.

Dan Ackroyd did a real funny bit on SNL, playing an elderly man who was a male prostitute, putting on all this equipment and supporters etc. Reminds me of someone.....

They are saying during announcements at Southern Billiards tour stops that Earl is living in Hendersonville NC again. Leonard

According to my sources, Earl is in negotiations with CueTec to return as a player Representative. He has convinced the company to move the production of his line to the United States. This product line will not have the fiberglass coating. The new cues will hit just like a Southwest and retail for around $149.00.

earl strickland

earl the pearl was fired from cuetec but to me he should not be playing in tournaments if he is not sponserd by cuetec cues i still play with cuetec cues and players cue:)

thanks

I don't understand why he shouldn't play in tournaments if he is not sponsored by Cuetec cues. What does that have to do with him playing in tournaments?

This would really be a big turnaround. It would also be a prime example of the way "money talks".

CueTec and Earl badmouth each other and then make a deal to continue in business together.
