Any Stream For the WPBA In OK. Today?

So no stream. Pretty weak. :boring2: Wake us when it is over.

So true, in a the short time our streamers have been at it, I now can't even think of an event as an "event" unless it's streamed. Heck, we got 10 yr olds streaming live right now and the pro women can't or won't?

Sometimes the venue doesn't let them stream it or the bandwith is too low in the venue to steam well. Or like you said, they don't want to. Johnnyt

I see the same women/girls at just about every tounament around the world go two and out. The same ones go one and out at the WPBA stops playing regional or low-ranked WPBA players. Then they go to China, the PI, or some other $3000+ travel tounament with the BEST in the world in it to go two and out. It would be different if they were blowing everyone away local...but there not. Sometimes Daddy's have too much money to p*** away. Johnnyt

ESPN is there recording the event. I heard a few sponsors were not happy with the no streaming decision.

Hopefully it'll be shown soon and not as a filler for the same time slot as the Super Bowl like last time.

Best,
Mike

I believe they just tape the semi's and final. They never show them when the do stream. Johnnyt

Wish there was a stream, all of the big name streamers have really stepped up and they bring the possibility of a ground swell of pool viewers. We need more league player to know that pool streams are available, When the numbers get up to a noticeable number advertisers will notice.

When I went to watch the tournament last year they didn't allow streaming either. The explanation was that streaming would affect the gate.

How big a gate do they get anyway in daily count, if anyone knows? I went to that tourney in Galveston last year (Men) absolutely no gate. DCC sales some viewer tickets but does not have a lot of seating.

Ladies in T town

Actually I meant to say that it was the best layout of the seating/floor plan.No doubt it was big sized venue

Last year`s US Open venue in oklahomacity was an auditorium with theatre type seating. But the floor plan was not meant for pool tournament.

Didn't even know it was in Tulsa. Last few years has been in OKC at Riverwind Casino. Good enough venue for this tourney. I think promoters move venues because of the Almighty Dollar, not because this or that place may be better for the tourney. Plenty of seating at the Riverwind meaning it was never sold out to my knowledge. I believe they only had ten tables. Lots of league pool going on this month at Remington Park. APA, BCA and some added singles tourneys. Excellent venue, big rooms with Diamond tables. I assume this tourney in T town is the Big One for the lady pros?? US Womens Pro thing?

Yes, US Open for Women. Pro Tourney. :)

Maybe they felt streaming the event would hurt the gate, but I don't agree with that. What, 500 people tune in to the stream worldwide? How many of those are close enough to the event to possibly go AND wouldn't because of the stream? A few perhaps, less than 10 people probably. But hey, it's not my call. And if I was ESPN I would want the stream because those additional viewers would be more likely to tune in to the telecast of the semis and final 6 months from now (lol).

Hello, anyone knows the SopCast channel of EPSN or some sites that I can watch the EPSN online .
Thanks so much.

Anyone know anything about Erica Park? I know she is managed by Charlie William's. What is she an Aisian champ? She is having a good tounament whoever she is. Johnnyt
