A lot of the people mentioned are not "up and coming" or "new" by any means...

Paul Dayton?
JW Petree?
Pat Diveney?
Showman?

These people are established, fine quality craftsmen and are far from new...

Joe Ezel out of Hattiesburg, Ms good guy nice cues
Bobby Jones (RJ Cues) Gulfport Ms GREAT GUY beautiful cues and fair priced

I own a 4 point Ezel and will be buying an RJ

Ditto for Blackcreek, Travis builds a stellar cue

Paul Sumrall near Lubbock TX. Puts his heart in every cue he builds.

If you played Fast Eddies 9 ball in Lubbock on Mar 10-11 you might have visited with him and had a chance to hit anything he has. If you didn't hit one, you missed out.

Just met Kent Taylor last week on a trip to OKC. I just happened to drive by his place, saw "Billiards", and stopped in. Played a few games and visited for a while. He makes one nice cue. Point work is stunning. Reasonable prices and he's a gentleman.
Gotta throw in a word for Kornele and Prather also. I live an hour north of the cuemaking epicenter of the universe and home of Verl Horn, Mooreland Oklahoma.
Shurtz makes an awfully nice cue also.

And is a very nice guy. He is the featured cuemaker in the March 07 issue of InsidePool Magazine.
Good article on Travis, thanks for the heads up!

Jim Antil, local guy in the Fort Wayne Area. He's just getting started, he's very meticulous about his work. I'm looking very forward to getting my next cue from him. Not to mention he's a really nice guy.

DB Custom Cues: Don Broos from Canada. Don is probably one of the most talented cue maker in Canada right now. He's the main cue doctor in Toronto and has been making amazing playing cue for the local community in Toronto. Checkout www.shooterville.com to find Don.
