Anybody got a tad like this???

I cannot remember what I did with it, I think I traded it for a southwest. Sorry I cannot provide better information:frown::frown:

No worries, Don.

Seems to me that this kind of TAD cue is harder to find than Jimmy Hoffa.

Wonder if a BEM TAD is buried under the goal post at Giant's Stadium???:grin:

I had one about 10 years ago+ Cue floated around Reno for years.
I got it from Joe Wallace. Paid a unheard of price of 400.00......
Go's without saying, i should's kept that one! It was of the same design,
but a little more used for sure.

I checked my iTraders and I am pretty sure I traded it to Jamie at new2youqs.com and I am sure he sold it.

Nope... wasn't me... I haven't had a Tad like that in many, many years. Sorry, I have no intel on it. GL with your search Mark!

Tad

Mark, you have great taste in cues.

If I buy a Tad, that's the one I want.
I've seen several that I should have and didn't but they're out there and I have seen some newer ones for sale I should have picked up. $1200-1500

Thanks, sir. I think I've got good taste, too!!! :) (wish I had equal parts skill in the game, though) Hope you're doing well, Ted. Same to you, Jamie. Both of you have a great weekend.

I have had a couple folks tell me how great theirs were...without the willingness to sell.

I've had some folks try to steer me in the right direction...with no luck at the end.

I've heard LOTS of crickets, too....

Surely in these awful economic times, somebody's got a TAD player's cue they want to sell for a very fair price to a very up-front buyer with cash-in-hand??!!??:confused:

To the top for a BEM TAD player's cue with 2 shafts...

Thanks Jamie and Good luck Mark. This must be a sure sign that I am too much of a cue swapping whore if I cannot even remember what I did with a cue that I owned twice:eek::eek::eek: Oh what the hell, I guess I am lucky that I picked cues instead of alcohol or drugs.

I'm sure you know about this Mark... but the J&J site states this Tad is available...

My thought exactly, that cues seems to have the life of a jobless lady looking for a good boyfriend to take care of her.

Some people let it go and wish they had it back.

Makes me curious how many people slept with, I mean owned my Runde cue before I got it. Well,... he seller said he was the first.

Hiya sir,

I did see that one. Aside from the fact that it's a flat-faced cue...it's new from an internet dealer...at full retail.

With the market the way it is, I'd rather find a different cue altogether than pay full retail from a online dealer site.

I've been told too many times to count that a Tad like I want should hover around the 1200-1400 dollar pricepoint. I'm willing to do a bit more than than for the absolute right cue...IF I can find one.

If not...I'll have to start another thread and put feelers out for something else.

Matter of fact, I think I'm gonna do just that!!! :grin-square::grin-square::grin-square:

Mark,

Off-topic. You are building a beautiful birdseye collection. Great taste and I love these simpler player style cues as well!

I'll find you a tad and you can let me have your Searing. I'm just saying....

Oh - and I'm PCSing to your base in a few weeks! We will have to find a pool table on base and have some lunchtime matches.

Ciao'
Matt

Heya bro,

Let me go ahead and box up that Searing for ya, sir...just stand by the mailbox and wait for it to show up!! :) ;)

Congrats on the move. Since you and I will be even closer neighbors, we'll have to get together during lunch once in awhile. Good to hear you're staying in the area.

I'll holler at ya next week, and we'll catch up a bit.

BTW - If you happen to see Jerry at Eddie's, tell him I sent him the info he wanted to his work e-mail account.

Hey Mark, surprised you didn't snatch that plain 4-pt BB off ebay for $1350! I sold a TAD like this for a friend a while back to TommyD1...send him a pm and maybe he will sell it if he has it, it think it was an '82 or '83.
:p

Hiya sir,

I saw that cue...but have decided to stray away from e-bay from now on. The last 3 "deals" I tried to make on e-bay all went south...mainly due to shady sellers and issues with the item that were never listed in the add.

$1350 is a solid price for a BB player, for sure...but I'll just wish the new owner luck with it and hope he got a deal!!

Thanks much, sir...and hit me back if you hear something about that Tad.

Mark

I don't blame you, I haven't bought a cue on ebay in a while and am fortunate not to have been burned. Knock on wood. I sent Tommy a pm, worth a try, who knows?

It just hurts looking at a TAD-1 like I used to own. At least I know
who has it, and perhaps someday it may return :o

Mark, Sorry, he doesn't have it any more...Tommy traded the Tad for a Cochran. Go figure...

Seems to be the trend, sir...nobody knows where they all went.

Could it be some greater Tad cue market conspiracy??? Hmmmmm??

To the top for a TAD player as pictured in the beginning of this thread.

All,

I have my heart set on a Tad BEM player's cue with the fancy butt sleeve ringwork...and that's what I'm gonna buy.

I will wait for the right cue...and would appreciate everyone's help if you hear of or see one that's available for sale.

I will keep cash on hand to buy the right Tad player's cue for me...so I'm ready when the cue is!!!

Thanks to all, and for your continued help in my getting one!!!

Have a great Sunday.

Mark
