Anybody know what this is???

Not Capone. At least I don't think it is. Get some better pics. Closer. Some of the pin and joint would be great. Also the weight bolt. Just show every inch of the cue if you want to ID it.

It has a 3/8-10 pin in it and I know since 97 he's been using a radial pin. And it doesn't have a weight bolt in it.

This one has nothing. The guy said that "CAPONE" was written under the wrap. I'm just trying to see if I can find out without taking the wrap off. The guy said he'd be happy to give me my money back but I don't want to give it back unless I find out its not a capone. I've tried to call mike and left messages but haven't received a call back as of yet.

Some cuemakers put their (extra?..) signature under ther wrap, for further identification.
Anyway the cue does not look like a Capone, only the cuemaker would be able to say if it's an earlier model.
Try calling him too apart from emailing.
Best,
Petros

Capone cue would be engraved on the pin as below:

The one I have has a similar rubber bumper with long pointed stem, it also has a small hole in the center. The 3/8-10 pin on mine is an Atlas style, with a very rounded tip...it's also quite a bit longer (exposed) than the pin in yours. Yours indeed looks like it could be a Migliore style 3/8-10 pin (same as what Gilbert uses, as well as quite a few other cuemakers).

The earliest Capones didn't have engraved pins. There's a chance....worth a shot to contact him anyway, but you will probably need some more detailed pics.

See cue on far left for reference: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=272810

Just got the email back from capone and he said it was definitely not a cue that he had made............... Still wondering who made it.

I remember several years ago Steve Price (steveinflorida) had a 6-point cue with "Joe Capone" under the wrap...no shit.
I'm sure Steve will remember it as well.

Well if it had said "Al Capone" I might have tore the wrap off in a second but I don't think joe capone makes a cue worth what I gave for it! Lol.

If it was autographed Al Capone it would really be worth something.

I have a Bob Capone for sale...Sam's brother.
No relation to Al, and probably not worth as much as a Mike.
That's OK, if nobody buys it, it's going to Ebay.
I will call it a "Capone"

I had an older Capone that was 3/8-10 and did not have Capone engraved.

Richard Harris also signs cues under the wrap. Or he used to.

No idea who made your cue, doesn't look like a Capone though
