Yeah maybe a handle with floating points in the forearm and the butt, that would be something.ChrisOnline said:i personally think that piece would look sweet as a handle on a wrapless cue...

Drawman623 said:If I were ordering a cue like this, I would have asked for the boxes to be book matched (I think that is the term) so the pattern of tiger figure matched from window to window. I would want the flow of the tiger rings to draw the eye to that part of the design. Also, the purple heart at the top and bottom would need to match perfectly the slots of PH between the windows. Otherwise, it looks like a laminated dowell rather than an inlayed forearm. With the design you have now, my thought would be to add long barbells between the rectangles (Szamboti style) and have the dots at either end overlay the glue line between the two end pieces of purple heart, thus minimizing the contrast between PH grain and color.
Long big windows do work for me and I like the color choice of pairing PH with figured maple. I do look forward to seeing the finished product.
hi davenbll01 said:Thanks Guys....Yes the Maple is bookmatched so all the curls line up threw the piece. The barbells are a cool idea as well. I'll probably do a few in ebony so theres no glue lines to be seen.....anyway keep the comments up guys Thanks Dave
