There's a nice post going about the wherabouts of "Cuejoey". I like him and enjoy his posts as well and join the others in wishing that all is well with him.
That got me to thinking about some people who no longer post on the forums....
Remember "8 ball" Bernie Friend? Now, he drove many of you crazy (it wasn't a long drive for some:) ) but I found him more entertaining than annoying. A few of his posts were waaaaay out there, but he brought some "flavor" to some othersise dry discussions. He was his biggest fan. Wonder what he's doing?
Remember "HoustonDan" from the Billiards Digest forum? He had his Brunswick GC affectionately named "Marlene" and would tell often semi-seductive stories about how much fun he had on her, how sweet her rolls were, etc. Unless you knew what he was talking about, you'de think something else...
RJ / Catto, the split personality who posted and then argued with himself?
Howie Pearl, again, more BD forum, but he knew all the 14.1 players of note and competed with them many times. He loved sharing stories...
A couple of whackos have come and gone, with more arriving shortly, I'm sure. But for the most part, I like this idea of forums. They can become somewhat habitual to many of us but for most of us, they are a very enjoyable part of our life.

Terry...Joey is still around. A mutual friend in S. CA just got a new cue from him recently. Can't tell you about Bernie. Houston Dan, while not posting on the forums, still has Marlene, and makes moves on her almost every day! RJ/Kato still lives in FL, but is not playing much pool these days. Howie is alive and well in Tampa, and is glued to the computer watching sports for about 25 hrs. a day! In fact, he's online as we speak! LOL :D

Thanks Scott.

I didin't have much interaction with Joey or Bernie but I did with Howie and Dan and I do miss them. They were knowledgeable posters over on the ccb and Howie had great stories... not unlike Jay. I also got a lot of enjoyment from Voodoo and Kato and of course CC when he joined in w/them.

Scott,
Thanks for the feedback. Your post was like a "where are they now " segment, with a little tid bit on each. They were some good guys.
Thank you.

Jim,
I forgot about CC! Thanks for jaring my memory. Funny, when I wrote about Howie, I was going to mention that he reminds me of Jay.
Thanks for the response.
