They seem to not get very much love on here. They can't all be bad, right?
Reason I ask this is because I once had a really nice-hitting Players decal cue. The forearm and butt sleeve was a decal that looked like bird's-eye maple, and nicely done. Joint was surprisingly piloted, a typical Players 5/16x18 pin. Shaft was also surprisingly nice, with unusually straight grain maple. Pressed Irish linen wrap. I always played with a triangle tip on it, but I thought the hit felt right for my taste. I eventually gave it to my son when I started acquiring more cues, but I sometimes wish I still had it. I certainly don't need it, but parting ways with a decent cue (or a nice firearm) sometimes leaves me remorseful.
Any stories y'all might share about a nice decal cue you own or have owned?
