Anyone have score updates for the US Open

Finals

Thanks for the updates guys. Wow.. glad I didn't bet on that. I would have gone with Alex for sure. Glad to see Shawn playing good though! This should be a heck of a finals.

To be honest, I don't think the score reflects how much better Putnam played than Pagulayan. This match was lopsided everywhere but on the scoreboard.

Putnam's jump shot (at either 8-8 or 9-8) should be remembered as one of the best clutch shots in US Open history. Snookered, he had to pocket the ball from about six feet away and also pull off two rail shape around two obstructing balls to make the shape, and he was up to the challenge. He then completed the runout.

If Putnam plays this well in the final, he definitely has a good chance. Still, Appleton will prove a much stiffer test than Alex.

Agreed. Putnam played really well, and really came with it after Alex got back to 8-8.

Here's hoping the finals is a great and exciting match. I'll be pulling for Putnam, but I don't think I can fade Billy calling him "Putman" for the whole match again.

updates

Darren wins the lag....
and so it begins.

He makes three balls on the break and has no shot to start.

update

Darren draws first blood with a nice clean run off a mistake by Putnam.

Appleton 1
Putnam 0
