This will be my third year going to the derby city classic and i thought i would start a thread to see if anyone knows some of the big names which may or may not be attending this year.

No, that is Pooky from the Northern Virginia, D.C. and Southern Maryland area.

Believe it or not, Pooky is a real person and a fine pool player. :D

Probably because its Christmas, we're in a good mood, more time off, and allot of times it can be too serious with the flamers. DA BABE is BIG, and a name to be reckoned with. He also works for TSA and is trying to get pool cues allowed on airplanes, so to me he's a big name, plus he's a semi-pro bowler and has run 100 in 14.1. Merry Xmas

Some news

Well since i started this thread their has been no actual news. Niels Feijen stated that their is a good chance he will be attending derby city because he is really feeling like going. Merry Christmas.......
 
Any Filipinos?

I would like to see Marlon Manalo, Dennis Orcollo, Alex Pagulayan, Busta and of course Efren. It would also be interesting to see Jeff De Luna compete in the USA for the first time.
 
Think of 100 top players in the world. Now, you count on at least 70 to 80 of them being there. As well as every known player in the U.S. and another 250-300 players you haven't heard of that will blow you away when you watch them.

Sorry for not dropping names but having been there previously you kinda know who will be there. Each year is swap out for this great player to that great player. Personally, I don't care who I see as long as I see the game played to its highest level.
