I was looking at doing a cue and using some acrylic for bands like on the old style Balabushka and others of that period. Most cues I see now are using a dull acrylic which is not really what I am looking for. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

i thought you were looking for clearThanks bud, it looks like I would need to get the solid rods as they are the only ones in color I saw, pretty pricey, would a 2 inch diameter be the right size? I am wondering if the cues built in the old style were solid rods or tubes for those bands? I also do not know if they will have that metallic look like this one has.
