We are having a $2000.00 guaranted first place, 9-ball bar table Tournament.. Thats just for the tournament.. The calcutta will probally pay just as much. This being held at GREAT SLATES in CAMBRIDGE,Maryland...

That's an odd number to limit it to. Are you running 3 - 32 man boards or a single elimination format? Just curious.

unless you're playing a race to 11 or more, 9 ball on a bar table is a joke. you might as well flip coins for cash when it comes to good players.

Funny, when I was playing in the NW, whenever there were any bar tournaments, there were three players that won ALL the bar tournaments. They were: Dan Louie, Mike Zimmerman, and Glenn Atwell. Come to think of it, these three also won all the 9 footer tourneys.. The bar table tournaments were races to 9 or 7.

Wierd, the way that worked out. These three are the "luckiest" dudes I've ever met...:D

3/10 and 3/11. I won't be attending. I will be competing in the much smaller lower paying APA DE state mens 8 ball singles championship...

Date of Tournament

April 14-15, Player auction is 11:30.. Tournament Starts at 12:00
 
We will be using 128 player chart..... That means there will be 32 first round buys.... That happens all the time..... There are houndreds of buys in the first round at valley forge..... We have to limit the number of players because of time issues... We dont wont tournament to last late sunday night...Thanks
