anyone name their cue??

Surely you remember about Ethel?

I name all my cues. Its like a boat, you gotta name it. Ive had Lucile, purple nurple (I still use that one on some of my purple heart cues, lol), Gertrude, Ethel, Beulah, and some others. I only give em the older classic female names, so no Summer, Honey, Pink Taco, or any other stripper names.

I don't know about naming a cue Ethel then . . .

I know a couple of ppl who named their cues. I've named my car before, but not my cue. was just wondering if anyone else does the same with their cues?? be honest. lol:D

Sharlene, but she's not just a cue... She's alive... She hates me:embarrassed2:

I named my Mr. Snuffleupagus Bigglessworth Woozerton, Esquire

Jim

I know that tons of people put LOL in posts to represent something they find funny....HOWEVER, I literally and truly laughed out loud at this...Wife asked me what was so funny, told her, she didn't share my enthusiasm.

I digress...Molly.

In my infinite wisdom I mispronounced "Mali" for years and for lack of embarrasment going forward from finding out the real pronunciation I decided naming my cue was the best course of action.

I mean....that's what my buddy did.

I give each cue the same name. Doesn't matter who made it, how long I've owned it, or where I'm playing.

"Goddammit"

Every cue I've owned has heard it so much.....

BS 1 = The Broomstick (= Betsy?)

I know a couple of ppl who named their cues. I've named my car before, but not my cue. was just wondering if anyone else does the same with their cues?? be honest. lol:D

My BS 1 is also named The Broomstick. It's an honest name since it really is a $5.79 Home Depot broomstick to which I've attached a 13-year-old Le Pro tip. It will remain THE Broomstick until someone else in the area brings in their own broomstick cue (and even then I'm willing to play for a broomstick cue title). One can also be flexible about interpreting the initials "B.S."

I suppose I could call her Betsy since she inspires a variety of proposals and semi-serious bets.

Yep I name mine. If they actually earn a name, they don't end up getting sold. I give mine all female names. My current playing cue (avatar) is Xena. My backup is Betsy.

"Ohh Billy Billy Billy Billy Billy Billy.......oh this is a biggie....don't let me down Billy."

I used to call my old cue the weapon of mass destruction. Even had "W.M.D." inscribed on it.

Yes

I had a Huebler SP for 19 years named 'Sara'. As a footnote, it lasted longer than any of my 4 marriages.
