Would you guys prefer the jb rugged or the vinyl instroke?
I think they offer different kinds of protection for your cues. The JB rugged case has the ultrapad interior, so your cues are cradled gently and there's no rattling whatsoever.
The Premier, like other Instroke cases, use individual PVC tubes covered in fabric (with a bit of soft padding), so there's a tiny bit of movement (no rattling like Whitten or Guiseppe, but there's a bit of movement compared to the Rugged case).
I think JB uses a thin PVC shell for the body of the Rugged case, so there's some protection against crushing. The Instrokes' individual PVC tubes probably offer more substantial protection against crushing.
I think it comes down to the exterior. The Premier's vinyl is bulletproof, I mean it looks great and it's THICK. The Rugged has a nylon exterior, which is obviously durable but, as any fabric, might not fare well being scraped against sharp edges or caught on nails etc.
You probably can't go wrong with either choice. Honestly, for a bar case, the new Sterling basic cases that Mr. Vmax is selling on AZB for under a bill is more than adequate. That has JB's organic rebound interior.
