9ballroller...that is my true concern also..... I have been around this game and the people who play it for over 45 years. It has been my experience that people seldom fall out of contact for no reason, and a person who has acted as responsibly in the past as Tony has does not change his stripes suddenly for no reason, either.

We got phished over Labor Day through our Paypal account, and after several hours of bouncing back and forth with everyone, it still hasn't been resolved.
I'm really getting tired of the whole Ebay Experience, and all of their other companies.
It was fun for a while, but how many garage sales of stolen stuff can you really go shopping at?
This is the fourth time since we started buying stuff on Ebay a couple of years ago.
We never had to worry about it until then. Outside of Ebay we've never had a problem. Now bank accounts get hacked, computers get trojans until they crash, and then you have the deadbeats.
I'm over it.

The9ballroller...You missed the point..It is not about the fact that it is not a $3000 cue..Its the fact that Joe made good on his end of the bargain...If you are good friends with the guy call his family and find out what is going on...Remember the line in The Hustler...Fats says "Pay the man"..Enough said....Don
 
poolshootindon is right.the price of the cue has absolutely nothing to do with it.whether it is expensive to me and cheap to you is of even less importance.you sound like you have an idea where Tony is or what happened.could you shed a little light on the rest of us and say waht you think has happened.
 
Well since I just posted a cue trade that is not going as promised I think I have to say that when someone promises that they are shipping out your cue and you have paid them it should be done, to find out they have not shipped your cue and worse yet they don't contact you there is a problem, why is it someone always thinks theres a good excuse, there isnt, either you did what you said you were going to do or you didn't, its that simple. I hope you get your cue or your money back and for my sake I hope the same, good luck. Nate.
 
Thanks for all the input, folks. I do understand both sides of the view on this, but I have to lean a little toward the "He did me wrong" side, right now.

Still no word and no sighting of Tony Cano, that I am aware of. Folks in San Antonio have looked for him at some of the regular tournaments, but no one has seen him.

Well, since I just saw some posts from Mystick Cue Fan in the Main forum, I'm hoping that he will respond to THIS thread and let the people that were concerned about him (and defended him) know exactly what happened.

Everything is OK

I want to let everyone know that I did receive the cue. I posted a thread to that effect. The cue was shipped by a third party due to Mystickcuefan's temporary inability to get to a shipping facility, etc, due to unforeseen circumstances. While it was extremely late in arriving and there was no communication, I do now understand the reason, and harbor no ill-will towards Tony.

There were 50 posts and a couple thousand 'views' of this thread and some people would like to know..... imo

I WAS BEGINNIG TO GET WORRIED, I KNEW ALL OF OUR DEALS WENT WELL, AND I WAS SURE THERE WAS JUST SOMETHING THAT CAME UP.
