yeah, I was watching it live when that happened. I thought they'd edit it out for the DVD. I'm amazed they left in in!

Hey don't be sorry. Totally cool. Got a big kick out of it. I'd leave it in. In another light though I would definately edit the comments made by Putman about Earl. Comments like "If I was Earl I"d hang myself" and the other hate remarks were uncalled for and very unprofessional. He is of course entitled to his opinion but that was not the time. Nick didn't take kindly to those remarks either.
I agree with this, those comments were really unneeded.
Ok, as for Archer in the bathroom, I laughed my butt off harder than I have laughed in a long time.
As for Mr. Putnam's comments about Earl. While I can't agree with all of his comments, while I was watching it, I was thinking about Earl's whining. Someone a half a mile away takes a drink while he's at the table, and he complains for an hour over it. But while Johnny is at the table shooting, he is huffing, puffing, having a conversation, moving all over the place, etc. As much as I enjoy Earl's game, his "antic's" as we have all read about before are unprofessional. I love his game, but he has no respect from me as a player, icon, or a professional. He gives no respect but expects it in return.
Im actually surprised that the referee did warn Earl to zip it up while Johnny was at the table. He is a hypocrit and it is truely a shame that such a talent is wasted on such a poor representative of the sport.
He may have his moments where he isn't like that, but it is truely conditional on who he is playing and if he is winning or not. You can't teach class.
JMHO - Don't edit the comments or the bathroom visit.

I agree as well on the comments that Shawn made many times during the match, as a commentator really he was actually unprofessional. I was called on the phone about it actually and said if I leave it the way it is there is going to be a shit storm eventually.
Thing is, I wasn't commentating at least on the tape here and there I was afterwards but I edited some of the end stuff out because of length of the match on the DVD as it is. I am not responsible for the words someone says on my channel or during a match I am producing. His remarks are on the record and I simply say he is responsible for them. If anything it makes him look bad, it was my job to provide the equipment and be the man behind the curtain to which I say I was doing a great job. I agree Nick tried to kept his comments professional. Editing out sections of audio that are tied to video that is a part of the match is a job for a pro audio video editor and it's nothing I even have the patience nor equipment for. There are small bits and pieces I clipped as I said for time, starts and mostly parts at the endings, but going over audio that has already been recorded in sync with video is out of my reach.
Thanks to everyone thus far who has purchased it, I am hoping to sell many more copies it was one of the most important matches in billiards history.

Shawn can own his words. He intentionally said whatever he said.
On the other hand, I would at the very least least ask Archer if this is acceptable to him. If he doesn't want it on, I'd remove it. It should be his choice. Just my opinion.

I agree with you for the most part. I've been an Earl fan for quite a few years but I'm having a difficult time defending him anymore. For me his attitude has finally overshadowed his ability. I hope for his sake he opens his eyes someday.
