....I now recall that Joss made them for a few years and I have seen them - but it's been a while but I recall discussing Joss made Brunswick's. Those dates coincide with Joss history as well. If your versions were made by Joss, they wouldn't have the Canadian sticker. Also, from the pics, compared to newer cues the shafts do look like they have patina so it makes sense they could be 15 years old.
Anyway, that was fun. I suggest searching the forum and google for Brunswick cues made by Joss.
Congratulations on your purchase and Merry Christmas. I also just received the same model cues as a set that came with a Brunswick Cromwell table I purchased. Just wondering if you have any info as to where I can find new shafts? The shafts on the 18 and 19 oz cues are warped, but the 20 and 21 are straight. The stickers on mine are oval and only show the weight, not country of origin. Also my pins are different than yours... they are threaded all the way to the tips. The cues arrived yesterday. They are really very nice! They are obviously used, but not much. The shafts still feel new. The tips are hardly shaped at all.
The only indication of weight is the sticker that says "Made in Canada." I wish it was stamped somewhere so I could remove the stickers.
While the shafts are interchangeable, we found they mated-up best with certain butts.
They play nice, the family enjoyed them.

GG, I have a John Guffey Carom cue that's 36 years old, Stone Cold Dead Straight with both shafts! The better one's do. I've seen 15yr+ old Lucasi's that are still dead-straight. The bigger co's in China generally do a good job on shafts.
Hindsight 20/20, I recently passed on a Guffey for my collection. Should have snagged it. It was inexpensive.GG, I have a John Guffey Carom cue that's 36 years old, Stone Cold Dead Straight with both shafts!
He made Only one Carom cue, (One of a kind) mine!Hindsight 20/20, I recently passed on a Guffey for my collection. Should have snagged it. It was inexpensive.
These particular examples were made by Dufferin between 1997 and late 2003.Sorry for the image size, but I didn't want to lose detail by resizing, in case you want to zoom in.

About 2010 I stayed a few months in an extended stay corporate apartment for work. I used to stop in the clubhouse where they had a Brunswick table on the way home.i have a bunch of different brunswick cues that came with tables or whatever. yeas they are cheap cues. but brunswick didnt let cheap garbage cues out with their tables. those cheap table cues both one piece and two piece ones all hit well and stay straight.
no reason a player even a decent one couldnt shoot with one of them for his regular cue if he wanted.
same with those player cues that were about. they hit well and stay straight with a good taper on the shaft.
