person caught in springfield pool room biting off cue tips from the house cues as they are leather. was caught when trying to bite someones break cue tip but broke a tooth and yelled as the tip was ceramic.
no one is safe in that area. especially with any leather on them.
dogs and cats are now safe under protection of owners.

My sister-in-law lives in Springfield Ohio, we're overdue for a visit.

I've been to Backstreet but go to Airway. I like the history and old school vibe. And a House Man, yes a real live House Man that you tip, win, lose, or bangin them around.
I use to get 9 ball and 3 cushion action, no issues, no bullshit, not million dollar stakes.

I took a while off AZB and it’s been a pleasant surprise since I’ve been back it’s been pretty good. Nice pool conversations and other enjoyable interactions.
I haven’t opened NPR and that’s ok, things improved here. Credit to those who help out.
I’m not a big time influential person here, just a small time beginner doing his best to fit in-and I want to thank you for that
. I’ll keep trying to make better posts and add quality content to AZB and learn from the big guys here and maybe I’ll be of some value to AZB

Thank you for the nod. It's been a slow uphill push, to a "kinder, gentler," place. Obviously we want folks to feel welcome, without completely sterilizing the site.
The "trick" in my opinion, is straddling the line between vigorous debate, and the type of constant battery that causes folks who are fantastic contributors, to either reduce participation, or leave altogether.

Not that you need my advice, but, yeah ... just don't. I think I looked in once back in like 2018, and noped out.
The debates are vigorous. We're constantly working on tamping down the needless personal attacks. Definitely a continuous work in progress. Some of these folks have been battering each other for 10 to 20 years. Unfortunately there is no magic wand.

Right on. I don't envy your duties. I just don't have the mental or spiritual energy to argue with strangers on the internet. Many do, it seems.
