Arent you the best if you win a race to 100?

Yeah if both players are having to adjust in the same time frame maybe...

That was not the case, Earl had MUCH more time to adjust to that table.

Jaden

I feel like that same logic applies with all of the races to 100 Shane played on what many considered to be his home table in the TAR Studio.

I would say yes and no... with the exception of the time they played on the really tight pockets, yes... any other time that was a standard diamond in every other way...

there was absolutely nothing standard about that 10 footer... as I said earlier... it's a 10 foot gold crown that was over 50 years old and rolled off with shimmed pockets and 760 on the bed and 860 on the rails and was heated.

The 10' they played on was not the 10' Earl plays on in his home room, and it was not a 10' pocket table...it was a 10' snooker table that someone had tried to turn it INTO a 10' pocket table, and did a lousy job of making the change over. The table ended up in Mark Gregory's hands afterwards, and HE converted it into 10' pocket pool table the right way, the way it should have been done in the first place before a match like that ever took place. I can understand how it was so screwed up, must have been worked on by one of the many ROCKET SCIENTISTS that everyone claims to work on pool tables.....I guess they should have hired a real pool table mechanic instead:thumbup:

I was under the impression it was the 10' at steinway where you first walk into the pit.

I don't recall Earl complaining of that Table and as I recall he shot lights out on it ,,

What would he complain about, he won didn't he? Lights out, your right....Earls lights when out a long time ago;) Why did he get beat so bad in Tunica on the Diamond 10' by a 17 year old kid....15-5....because Landon Shuffett shut Earls lights off so he couldn't see anymore....Earl sure did complain then didn't he;)

If this is true then Earl Strickland is better than SVB. Earl beat SVB in a race to 100 playing on a 10' foot table where shot making was at its toughest.

But but but if SVB loses a race to 100 someone on here will tell you that it wasn't long enough and that he'd win a race to 500 and if he lost to 500 he'd absolutely win to 1000...lol.

Shane has lost in a race to 100 on a Diamond 9ft, no one is saying that he hasn't, he lost to Alex. But then again, when they rematched, Shane busted him. Then took his money on the 9ft over at the cue club. So now, the question for you is who else has beat Shane in a race to 100 on a 9ft table??;)

I don't believe Earl is a top 15 if you bring in all the worlds talent ,, I also believe Shane can get beat in a race to 100 if it's in a venue that's not in his favor ,, I would love to see him play the Ko's on thier home turf ,, or DAZ or Shaw in UK

So what you're saying then, is that your TOP picks to beat Shane....can't beat him here, on USA soil, and that he should only play them overseas, so they stand a chance of winning then....OK, got it, now I understand where you're coming from;)

Shane's already beat Shaw and DAZ on his home court yes of course I like their chances at thier place better ,, personaly I think DAZ is every bit as good as Shane factoring in all games ,, Shaws gaining quick

I think your point is kind of mute seeing how Daz HAS won 2 US Opens back to back...in this country;). If he can win the Chinese world 8 ball title, why does he need to play Shane somewhere else in a race to 100? If Daz can beat Shane in a race to 100....shouldn't he be able to do that.....anywhere?;)
