We are currently taking payments for playing priviledges in the AZB-1P private room at the DCC. Payment must be made in advance. Payments are to be in by mid-dec (I'm giving until Fri 12/22)

We are also taking payments from those that wish to enter the drawing to be involved in the celebrity 8 ball match up (just ask Williebetmore & Mthornto how they enjoyed playing along with Efren & Jeanette Lee last yr)

Something new this yr is the celebrity one pocket match in which two winners will pair up for a scotch doubles 1p game with Danny DiLiberto and Grady Mathews.

There are three sticky threads in the DCC forum regarding each event listed above. Please take a moment to go check them out and be sure to send your checks for playing priviledges & any raffle you might be interested in ASAP.

Timberly,
I've just heard that Jeanette Lee has agreed to play in our Celebrity 8-ball Tournament again this year. The second celebrity has yet to be determined.
It may be George Breedlove, or some other pro that Jeanette can scrounge up at the last minute (last year she wheedled Efren Reyes into playing). I will keep everyone posted.

We have found that it is easier to recruit the celebrities if we promise that breakup will be chained to his seat; wear his "Hannibal Lecter mask" at all times; and be kept at least 20 yards from the table. Many thanks to breakup for agreeing to these terms.

P.S. - I am planning on buying multiple raffle tickets for both events - do NOT complain if I win.

Timberly,
I have spoken with Greg Sullivan this week; and we WILL have 2, 9 foot tables in the AZB room - ASSUMING WE HAVE ENOUGH CONTRIBUTING PLAYERS!!!!!!!

We need at least 30 players signed up by mid-December.

SWEEEEEET! C'mon folks.... I know there's a lot of people from this forum going to the DCC. Your $25 contribution will allow you to play pool with other forum members and pro's (quite a few stop in) for the whole time you're there.

Get your checks in the mail!!

I don't think FedEx can be trusted with mailing anything to do with money and pool. :p

C'mon down Joey, you'll LOVE it! Here's the games and the races that we have to limit them to so that everyone gets a turn. ;)

Marop's check arrived FedEx today with the following note...

"See FedEx does work. Maybe I should give K.T. some lessons!"

After having a rough few days personally and at work, I gotta tell ya that was a welcomed hearty laugh! You definitely had me chuckling out loud. Thanks for having such a good sense of humor Marop. :D
