Authenticate Tascarella Letter Of Authentication?

I was informed that it might be a good idea to get my Peter Tascarella Letter Of Authentication authenticated to help sell my Balabushka cue.
Is there a well known and respected member of AzBilliards forum that will do this for me as a favor?
If not, what would be the fee?
It doesn't make sense to send it back to Pete Tascarella to have him authenticate it does it?
Where does this end?
Should I then have the Letter Of Authentication of the Letter of Authentication Authenticated?
Wouldn't the standard procedure of an Escrow Service Provider be to confirm the authentication of the original Letter Of Authentication?
I have the Fed-Ex triangle shaped shipping tube from Pete Tascarella with Pete's hand written shipping label on it from when the cue was returned to the original owner after Pete's authentication.
Is that of any value to a prospective buyer?
 
I would have thought Pete's word was good enough. The prospective buyer can always call him to verify that he did write the letter.

You do need to send your cue to Pete to have him authenticate it. But first he will ask you to send him photos, to save yourself time and money. His prices vary from about $50 for no authentication when a cue is not a real Szamboti or Bushka, to something like $150 for the actual letter of authentication. Contact him directly to get all your questions answered.

Jay, I think his problem is that he bought the cue from someone else, and it already has a LOA from Pete with it. His question is should he send the cue and LOA to Pete to authenticate the authentication. I think if you called him and sent him a photo of the cue with a photo of his letter, he should be able to tell you if he wrote the letter or not.

I think calling Pete is the thing to do. From there, go with his (Pete's)recommendations as to how to proceed from there.

If you are in fact selling it, good luck with the sale!

Also, out of curiosity, I'd like to see the cue (pictures) if you would be so kind. I like the old designs, and George had a few rather interesting ones...

You may want to email Pete w/pictures of the cue & LOA or a link to your thread asking him if he indeed authenticated this cue, and his reply would be a good authentication of the authentication. I'm getting a little dizzy thinking about it :).

Isn't Tascarella still alive. I think you should get him to authenticate his authentication. Doesn't it sound a little weird to get someone ELSE to authenticate a Tascarella authentication.

Just don't get it authenticate in front of a poolroom of patrons, because a few years down the line everyone will have a different story.

Bill,

Absolutely no way you need any more documentation. You have the letter from Pete and anybody who would buy a Balabushka would know it's a Balabushka.

You've been trying to sell the cue for a year now. What is the best offer you've had?
