Eric Crisp will be delivering me the cues for the Cue Build off this Sunday, Sept 27th. I will be taking the cues to Olathe Ks for the Midwest 9ball tourney n Oct 2-4th. Everyone is invited to come check the cues out and hit with them….We will need your feedback for these cues so the builders and all of AZ can see what quality work these guys can dish out..

Sounds like a great program. Getting a look at the cues will make player reviews even more interesting.
 
So if your around Olathe and wanna come hit with these cues...come on out....I get off work at 5pm and will hit the road around 6..I wont get there till late, but will be there most of the day Oct 3rd
 
I'm in Wichita...I think I'm going to try to head that way for Saturday. If I can't...Shawn shoot me a PM...I'll buy you a beer if you're taking 35 up and back and coming through here.

BTW...I'm really digging that Sneakiest Pete...thanks for the great deal.

Thanks Matt....I am taking 169hwy straight up to Olathe....I am really glad you like that Sneakiest Pete

Hopefully you can see the cues there in Olathe...I will get there late fri night but should be there all day saturday to let everyone check them out

The cues will be going to different AZ members throughout the US. Central US, then heading west, then to the east coast, then back to me where we will raffle off the entire collection and the proceeds going to either each cuemaker, or donating the money to AZ Billiards.

And here is the list of testers and the order they will recieve the cues;

Yea, I am pretty pumped about it. Were gonna get to hit with some really nice cues..Eric has told me that although the cues are built with the specs we put out, the cues hit altogether different. SO this is what I was trying to achieve, to find out which cuemaker builds cues that I would like. Each one will have some diff techinques to make his cue hit the way he likes it, and I wanted to see if I would like that particular hit.....were gonna find out.

I can tell you guys this, There is a cpl of not so well known makers in this, and then there are some bigger named makers in this. But I will not know whos cue is what...I know the cuemakers involved, but dont know which cue is thiers........Gonna be a blast!:grin:
 
I'm going to try and make Olathe....no promises yet, trying to schedule around tablework, but hopefully......
I'd love to get in one the test drives on those cues!

Eric is delivering the cues to me either today or tomorrow. He was going to leave Alamagordo sunday but things changed. He is on his way to the Cue Show in Dayton..I will take pics of the cues and post them on here as soon as I get them

I'm too lazy to read everything but will the people that hit with the cues be able to vote as well? If not, I think that would be a great idea. Like on the biker build offs, the fans seen the bikes then voted. Since everyone can try these cues it would be cool to be able to vote as well as which is their fav because they actually hit with them.

If you view and hit with the cues, we are wanting your feedback on them as well...so the answer is yes...

Its my intentions to get as many people involved in this as possible, so we can give some positive, and maybe some constructive feedback to the builders involved.

Were wanting this to be fun for all of AZ...as many that can test hit the cues, the better

Wow'zer. Grampa00 isnt getting the cues in clearwater, fl for awhile. told him Id get with him and bring a handfull of players to check them out... guess that'll be sometime next year at best. :-(
 
I just spoke with Eric Crisp, he will be here in Tulsa around 8am on the 1st on his way to Ohio. I will pick the cues up from him and post pics. I probably wont get to shoot with them till tomorrow evening but will let everyone know
 
Any chance these cues will be at the DCC this year 2010. I know there are a ton of AZers there and I plan to be there myself. I would like to see the cues and see the difference in them.
