AZ Buildoff Cues

Its my hopes that everyone takes better care of these cues than they would their own...I know my stuff is extremely well taken care of, and I have taken care of these cues. I do have faith in everyone that will take possession of these cues that they will respect these cues and the guys that made them.

As for my evaluation of the cues...Heck, I cant decide, they all look and hit so good. I pick 1 cue out as my favorite, then I pick up another and its all of a sudden my favorite. There are things I like and dislike in each cue. I would be proud to have any cue in the bunch, they all hit THAT good.

The Vasilios sneaky pete cue, what the hell....that cue is absolutely the nutz. When you get to test out these cues please leave your feedback on the sneaky as well. I have seriously considered just buying this cue outright for myself, but I feel it would be doing Vasilios a disservice by not letting this cue travel around the country.

I will be driving these cues to Sherman Tx this fri evening to deliver them to the next on the list....it will be hard to pry them out of my hands though...

I would like to thank each and every cuemaker involved...You guys are absolutely Top Notch!! I respect each and every one of you...your all great!

John Barton of JB Cases...man, your awesome...The case John made for this build off is great! This case will provide plenty of protection for these cues, and protection is what we need with them travelling to so many different places.. Thank you John from the bottom of my heart for doing this for us, you, my friend are what this is all about. I knwo each and every cuemaker thanks you for making something that will protect each and every cue while in transit.

Thanks AZ for getting on board, I joined this community as a place to escape from the pain of losing my daughter, and you guys have helped me heal. I truely love pool and want to see nothing but good come from this. Thank you all for supporting this build off!

SK Custom Cues doesnt know who built cues for the build off. I know who built cues for the build off, but I dont know who built which cue. The only people that know who built which cue is Eric Crisp...and of course the builders know their cues only.. I do have a favorite cue that fits me good, and I have a least favorite...I have some things to say about each cue in my review. So I dont think that I will go easy on anyone....I will just give my honest opinion on each cue.

I will say this...we tried out the cues with the Molavia tips..0 out of 8 people that tried the cues, did not like the tips. We decided to go with a Triangle tip on each cue. Doug Patrick of Patrick Custom Cues installed the tips...Great JOB Doug :thumbup: The cues are absolutely awesome!!!!

I will be posting feedback tonight of what John Morra and some others thought of the cues.

I think Shawn meant to say that 8 out of 8 people did not like the tips or 0 out of 8 liked the tips, which would be why Doug changed all the tips to triangles. So yes, based on what he wrote you did interpret right.

Sorry guys, I guess I had a major brain fart then......out of 8 people trying the cues....NOBODY liked the tips..they had a soft spongy feel to them, had a funny sound....we just did not like them.

So Eric Crisp and I talked when I met him, and we were both in agreement that using the Triangle was a good "medium". That weekend I talked to Doug Patrick and he agreed also...they would be middle of the road for everyone.

Now, I hit with the cues before the tips were changed, there was a very noticable differences between each cue....I mean, going from #1 to #2, it was night and day. Now with the triangles....everything is more even. There is not 1 cue that I do NOT like because of the hit. There are differences in each cue, but its not like going from a turd with a tip on it to a broomstick with a tip on it. These cues are somewhat more equal. I would hate for someone to judge each cue and say its a piece of dried opossum poop (gotta be from Oklahoma to understand that one KK9L) just because of the tip.

I hope that clears that up..and I do thank you for bringing that to my attenion, because I dont want anyone to not understand why I made the decision to change the tips...basically, it was my decision and mine alone. I hope it was for the best!

I am not involved in the testing , but I was wondering about this before as a way to safe guard all the cue's being put out there. You know what kind of a world we live in now. Not to say any good respecting AZ member would ever do anything like steal or disappear with all the cue's but Like I said you just don't know who is really behind a name on their screen name or forum ID name.
