What is obvious is you are reading your own meaning into an innocent post. Anything can be misinterpreted and spun if a person tries hard enough and obviously you are trying very hard to find offense in my post. I seem to remember this isn't the first time you have shown your class. There are only two interpretations of your repeated misinterpretations of my post and neither are very kind of me to point out.

Having a Yellow Banner was just as Important to Smorg
Just about everyone displays full green, even people with just a couple of posts.
Check the Rep list. Smorg will always sport a Yellow ribbon but less that half the members on the first page have theirs.
I just wonder why green seems more important then yellow??
All I have to say is a Yellow Banner means way more to me then a bunch of green squares.

Actually I'm just confused by this whole set of posts by you. You called me for something that existed only in your imagination and then ran on from there finding one imaginary thing after another to object to. How foolish is that?

There are 30 forum members on the first page all with over 6000 posts.
Only 12 of the 30 have one.
Now sort the list by reputation.
Out of the top 30 rep getters all with millons & millions of rep points only 14 have one.

I'm on my second one year membership right now myself and donated to Mike before there ever was such a thing as a membership. I contribute something to every forum that I use regularly, only seems fair to me. I understand the casual visitors not being paid members but it does seem that the regular posters that obviously spend a great deal of time here should support the site. We do have to remember that there are other ways to support the site besides club membership but I suspect that many who aren't club members aren't doing anything else either.
Being a club member had a nice surge when it started but I notice there seems to be fewer and fewer club members as time goes on. At the bottom of the forums listing is a list of the visitors for each day. The club members have their names in blue. Usually not very many blue names to be seen.
(edit) a quick check of almost 300 members currently on the forum showed 4% are club members supporting the site in that manner.

There are some that donated and have the Yellow Banner but for some reason their name does not show in blue.
JohnnyT and AKATrigger being 2 of the top 30ers that are members but no blue. I hope the forum fixes that soon.
Yeah, I realize some do other things to help. I am also an advocate for honorary membership to cover those instances, Staff, and those Club Members that Pass-on.

I do know that is a rough check
I do know that the blue names are a way to do a rough check only. Some of the things that come with club membership are automatic and happen instantly, some I think are done manually and may take a month or more.
