I made this cue of ash and ash burl using an ebony stain. The shaft is a 13 mm carbon fiber tube which is filled with a maple dowel for added stiffness and weight. It will be used for breaking and jumping.

Butt: 14.8 oz [ 29" - .844 joint, 1.291 butt ]This is fantastic. Big fan of roasted maple. Its my go-to for guitar necks. I'm very interested in builds with roasted maple.
Any insight into the characteristics in how it plays?
What did this end up weighing?
How much did the shaft weigh?
I wanted to make a few roasted curly shafts but I was worried about them coming in too light.
Everything about this cue is awesome, great work.
3.4 oz shaft is pretty good. That weighed more than I thought it would.Butt: 14.8 oz [ 29" - .844 joint, 1.291 butt ]
Shaft: 3.4 oz [ 29" - .844 joint, 13mm tip ]
Weight bolt: 0.7 oz
Total: 18.9 oz
Balance point: 17.75" measured up from butt
Maple forearm is solid, attached to Honduran Rosewood at A joint. Maple for butt is sleeved over the HR.
Plays really nice. Provides good feed back/feel, might be a little better with out the steel joint collar. Used Arvorin for the ferrule (soft material). Installed a Ultra Skin Fire soft tip. First time trying them, Tip installed good, cut real nice but may be a touch too soft for my taste. Have to see how it plays after breaking it in.
Shaft from post #351 in this thread:3.4 oz shaft is pretty good. That weighed more than I thought it would.
This is my latest build bubinga and wenge with custom rings of curly ash and wenge accents with sterling silver. Mated to one of my custom made carbon fiber shafts. Shoots as good as it looks lol
Ho-lee chit! Those are a couple of lookers for sure. Beautiful cues, great job!
