If you stain the handle it may not be so noticeable. It doesn’t bother me though.I’ve been turning this maple down and it started showing a dark line along the growth ring. Is there something I can do to make it go away?
It’s on the handle so I’m starting to think this cue will end up with a wrap. Thanks for any help!
Very cool.My Orange Crusher
Super elegant combination, I love this look.
love your stuff chrisHere are a few that were completed this year. I will look for some older cue photos when I get home. Chris.

More about it here
FYI, this guy scammed me out of $1400 for a custom cue. I asked for something very similar to this, and after 12 months of waiting, and back and forth communication, he ghosted! Do not trust Payne Cues. This is my latest build bubinga and wenge with custom rings of curly ash and wenge accents with sterling silver. Mated to one of my custom made carbon fiber shafts. Shoots as good as it looks lol
Exactly. I looked through those old catalogs. That 100 year old Brunswick looks very similar to a cue in the 1914 Brunswick catalog??
