THE MORE WE HAVE, THE MORE WE CAN DO.

So everyone knows, there will be a separate room again for us this year thanks to Greg Sullivan...Hooray...we'll have 2 tables again so there will be plenty of time to play and practice.

ONE POCKET CHALLENGE:
We will be using the room for the One Pocket challenge for 3 days and I hope theres enough players to have them using both tables most of the time......its a great informal event with alot of hoo haw and bs ing going on. It'll be a real treat to have it our room.
***please see thread in DCC section for more info***

We'll have other things going on and they'll be posted here as they get figured out.

TOURNAMENT AREA INFO:

You can see a great photo of what I'm talking about on the Derby City Classic website. The photo shows the Hotel at the back, the casino boat in the front, the parking garage on the right and the big building in the middle is the pavillion/convention area

The Hotel has a covered walkway that is app. 50-75 yards long with a moving walk that leads to the pavillion area. Right off the walkway will be the convention/tournament area and the private rooms like ours.

When you keep going, you go into the pavillion where all the restaurants and shops are, the buffet is great as are the other eating spots.

If you keep going through that area you go down a hallway that takes you to the escalators that you take down to the casino boat.

The parking garage has a covered walkway that leads into the pavillion and the tournament area is located directly on the right so thats convienent for the people that stay elsewhere.

So its a little walk from the Hotel and tournament area to the casino boat, close enough to go gamble but far enough to not keep running back and forth all day.

Please add iba7467 to my badge as most people will recognize it more readily. I hope that is no issue, sorry I did not have my wife include my user name when she sent the check.

Thanks.
