AzB Key Chain Contest

nice stuff

All of you... Some are blue, and even have room to scribble a telephone number, or something like, "If lost please return to XXX".

Here is one that I drew by hand. I'll try to find some time to put it into Adobe Illustrator to digitize it, clean it up a little, and add some color.

The only key chain design you'll ever need....

I think this one speaks for itself. :D

Are you an illustrator or graphic designer?

No, not a professional.

I suggest you tweak the width a bit making it the maximum size which is 1.75" I believe. The extra width will give you some more "white space" and it won't distort the size of the table that much. The 2 1/2" long size is fine. Adding the extra space to the width you will give a bigger canvas for the text. I messed around in Corel Draw adding Diamonds and building a key tag background that is easy to change but I am just copying you and the other designers ideas. :o

I will work on your suggestions.

Here's another file to get an visual of how big the print can be. It can't be any larger than the gray shaded area.

except that picture isnt exactly to scale.

those logos you have there are way too big. They are 3 1/2" by almost 2 3/4"

You're right. I printed out the images that appeared in the post and they are larger than what I designed. The Corel Draw designs have the imprint size at 2 1/2 x 1 3/4" which is the maximum size. I guess something happened during the export process.

Here's the correct sizes. I THINK they will print out to size now. I saved them as a .PDF file instead of a jpeg.

Maybe we ought to put, "If found please contact www.azbilliards.com
:)

Some escrow service would be cool, if the they could be individually numbered. Could be a cue tag, or an INLAY.

We used to have such an implementation at DIGITAL for our badges, which you could just drop it into a mailbox.

Do you see it?

Yes... I see it but....

It don't think the AZ part is clear enough to be a good marketing symbol. Only somebody that knows what it is will figure out what it is. IMO. But kudo's for your imaginative idea.

Ok, now I am confused. Looking at the attached samples I think I have the substrate size wrong. I was going off the following and assuming the "dimensions" were the size of the keychain. The keychains in your PDF appear to be about 2 7/8" x 2 1/8"

I printed out the PDF files that I uploaded. The key tag is 3 5/8 x 2 1/4.

The imprint is 2 1/2 x 1 3/4.

The imprint size is the most important dimension. The neck of the key tag is included in the 3 5/8" width.

If you stick with the imprint size, you can't go wrong.

Thanks,

JoeyA

Thanks for the critique Jim...I'll see if I can find some time to come up with another design thats a little bit more clear.
