AzB Key Chain Contest

Here's another one. I really like the idea of having a pool table on it. I can't remember how many times someone has tried to describe a shot to me and there was no pen and paper handy. It would be cool if you could whip out your AZ keychain to use as a visual aid.

I like that a lot. Looks very professional.

You think we can have these done by BCA @ VEGAS in May? I'd definitely like to be able to pick a few up.

They are still trying to come up with a design right now. JoeyA or AZHousePro could probably answer that question.

These are my favorites so far. :)

Looking for designs!

Are there any other AZers who want to take a shot at designing the AZ Keychain?

Are we going to be able to put our names on them? I am sorry if it says this anywhere in the thread I am not able to take the time to read the whole thing.

Thanks,

Rubyron's design looks good if only he could change the rail color to brown, and the letters to yellow. Should use a darker green in the background (felt or cloth) but.....

My personal choice would be similiar to the one I submitted. Brown rails, black background, and yellow letters. With the "member tag" included, and replacing "the A to Z of Billiards and Pool." to read "The Pool & Billiards Internet Forum."

My reasoning for the change is that if the keychain gets lost, anyone who does not know what AZ Billiards stands for would be able to know that it belongs to someone that is member of an Internet Forum.

The words "A to Z of Billiards and Pool" does not get this message across.

Just my honest opinion..

I think the fact that they both have www.azbilliards.com on them gets the message across. They are both great designs and I would be happy with either one.

There are two brown ink colors available. I used the lighter one for the rails in the previous ideas. I thought the other brown was kind of dark. I think it would work on a lighter keychain material but wouldn't show up very well on a dark. There is one yellow ink color and it is a golden yellow. If you wanted a brighter yellow we would have to pick a yellow material and let it show through. Here's some more examples with different colors.

The yellow sample looks best but then that is my personal opinion.

Rep for you for going through all those samples.....

I like the table idea. The CCB key tag just didn't do it for me. In fact, still today, I have no idea what CCB is.

I think that some of the lighter and brighter color materials will show up the dirt as the keytag comes into contact with dirt, grease etc. But unless you keep your cue in the trunk of your car (like I used to) you shouldn't get the key tag all that dirty. OH? Some of you are going to use it as a keychain? :D Mine will go on the zipper pull of my cue case.

I'm not looking for a neon sign but it wouldn't be a bad thing to see a bright yellow key tag on somebody else's shoulder walking out the door............ "STOP THIEF! GRAB THAT GUY, HE'S GOT MY CUE!" :D

There will be no screen names on any of the key chains. Just use a Sharpie marking pen..

I like the yellow. I'll be writing my name on the back w/a Sharpie.

I knew this whole key chain idea was only a ploy by Danny Kuykendall to get our REAL names.... dammit !

( I'm gonna wear my keychain around my neck with my dogtags )
