MySpace: dont have a page
Location: LA or Vegas or Europe, sometimes Africa-soon as my back is better I will be there alot.
Occupation: uncertain at this time 4/26/08 & Landlord in Vegas
Business Website: dont have one, I dont even have business cards either.
Game of Choice: 8-ball recently(9-ball before that), Snooker(my #1 favourite cue sport), and ring games(i love them even if I have the worst of it-they are just fun for me)
Playing Since: 1981 but not in pool rooms seriously until 85. I took a few years off here and there but never quite.
Favourite Player: Efren.
Favorite Player I know as a friend: Jay Helfert
Playing Cue: Barry Szamboti
Break Cue: playing cue
Jump Cue: dont use one
Case: depends on if i'm travelling or going to local pool room or at home.

Other favorite sports: MotoGP is fun to watch, Tennis(the girls because they have longer vollys-no not to check them out),

Other favorite sports I like to do: Bodybuilding as much as pool-but cant because of health problems, and tennis on slow Astro-Turf(I cant play on a hard court) I suck at tennis but its fun sometimes. Also sports cars-but I'm now totally burned out with them, I still have 6 Lambos but sold my Enzo. we were doing runs in SoCA 2 times a month for the past 4 years-I dropped out of that scene-to many stuck up people nowdays it changed alot in the past year. And the rush of driving 170-180 just is gone.

Favorite Food: Sushi-traditional Japanese-not california rolls, white truffels, and fusion cuisine-think Wolfgang Puck(a casual friend of mine). And Tacos over a trash can at a 24 hour Taco truck in Hollywood at 3am after a good session of pool. It dosent have to fancy to be good, and BBQ. no candle light dinners for me. and Hambugers at the Jointed Cue in Sac-til you go ya just dont know how good that is....

A few other things about me, I have a crippling back problem and cant play much, I havent played good since last summer even then I was just a B player-with alot of experience-I move good, i might not ever play like I did before, I was a weak A at one point years ago. I hold up real good for the $$$ no matter how much, but get nervious in tournments. Also I dont rattle playing champions at all(I just rack ;) ), I did at first but over came that-it took along time, I'm a mentally tough player, when I want to be, there are a few people I just cant play like CrownCityCory he is my friend and I cant catch a gear playing him EVER he just has my number-he beats me worse that Archer does-go figure. I wasnt born with a lick of talent to become a great player, I have done the road alone and with top players and one champion, we awalys did good, alone I could just cover costs and never get ahead-this was all 20 years ago-I went out many times and still have my VW van I used for those trips, unless I was the passanger, today I dont know how I would do-not so good would be my gusee, because i'm out of the loop a bit and sick, if I spent more time around pool and ould play I might be ok, but that desire is gone, the desire to play isnt. I can talk openly about this stuff because I have nothing to hide and nothing to lose by doing so. I dont stake players either, but will bet on the rail.

I'm not a tournment player-never won a tournment in my life of the 15 or so I have played in-I rattle. I'm not a gambler but I do like to gamble on pool, or flip a coin, tails. I'm not to fat 230 and I'm just under 6'2", Was into body building for 13 years, I like to eat healthy, dont smoke, hardly drink and dont do drugs(except pain meds now cause of back disease).

The name "Fatboy" came from a friend of mine about 20 years ago, before I got into bodybuilding and weighed 250, I was fat then, my back was bad so I started going to the gym to help it, it worked and I semi retired from pool, it helped my back til 3 years ago when I was 38, I have been in bad shape since, I'm not so fat anymore but the name was cool, so when I waas in Germany after a operation I found AZ and needed a screen name, so luckily it was avaliable, almost 4000 posts later the rest is history, when i'm healthy again(I hope) I will be here but not near as much, but Fatboy will be forever present in pool.

I'm liked by most, hated by some, and known by all....:D

Feel free to PM me even if you dont know me, i respond to 95% of them sometimes I'm late getting to them but I do.

Good luck...

you really should go in to more detail next time

Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed reading it. We are fortunate to have you as a member of this forum. :)

I hope you do not misinterpret comments made by, thankfully, a minute minority of poster(s) who oftentimes only inject one-liners for the sole purpose of being mean-spirited. They think they are being funny, but in reality, they never seem to contribute much to the forum that is pool-related.

Looking forward to meeting you someday, Fatboy! It is posters like you which make this forum interesting to read. :)

Other favorite sports: every kind of motorsports, handball

Other favorite sports I like to do: handball, gokarting - until I have a powerful car. I've been driving gokarts since the age of... nine or ten.

A few other things about me: my back hurts too - but I am sure nowhere near as bad as Eric's. I fell with my bike and and the last few vertebras slipped into each other a little so my waist hurts pretty much when doing excercises or having to lift something.
Anyways, I love pool and pool cues even more. I am fond of the English language, for some reason I like it a lot - don't know where did that come from. [my native language is Hungarian]. I was into going out but that's gone. Finally, I love music very-very much - almost every kind of it, let that be jazz, drum and bass, hip-hop, blues, rock, electronic / dance, classical (rarely, but there are a few that I really fancy), indie.

I am glad that I found AZB and I hope that I can stay for a long time.
