It has come to my attention that a bit of a challenge was made with me during my Andam match at the Reno Open by Evan Broxmeyer.

My style really is not to make things like this public; however under the circumstances, Evan decided to make a public statement, I'd like to reply in kind.

I hereby accept a challenge from Evan Broxmeyer to play even:

8-Ball, 9-Ball, or 10-Ball for $20k at the upcoming Derby City Classic.

I am happy to make this a TAR match or not.

Since I did not have plans to attend the Derby and will need to make them if Evan accepts, the window is open for one week for him to accept.

The $$$ must be posted well before the match. I will do so within days of Evan's acceptance.

Evan, are you ready to back up your statements?

Evan has been sent a text message from my phone with the challenge for 10k as witnessed by Mike Howerton. I am looking to double that original request.

Hell yeah, now this is what pool players like.

If that was really Evan chirping, he HAS to play for as much $$ as he can muster if he popped off about Corey like that.

I love the fact Corey is ready and willing to play for some significant dough after getting dogged like that. Get 'em Corey.
 
Yea I was chatting at the time and when Evan said that he would come out ahead playing you even I asked if he would play MadMax even also and he said no but that you new he could beat you. Go get him the last weekend of DCC and I'll be there pulling for the supposed underdog Mr. Corey Harper.--Leonard
 
Sounds like a good TAR match in the making. Not two of the top players, but both high level 'B' to 'A'- players. A very interesting match up.

Jay sounds like you like Evan. LOL! Maybe you can find another game for me if this does not work out. LOL!

Anyway, I posted the challenge on his Facebook page also and he is dodging an answer. Sadly, no surprise. Why he feels the need to pop off like this who knows.

I absolutely will come out of gambling retirement for the right game and I just can not pass this game up if he posts the money. He has 'til Monday to accept as I still do not have Derby plans just yet.
 
I have played them both and Corey spanks me and I beat Evan. So I have to go with Corey on this one all the way.

Cory I will post up $10,000 for you, perhaps more if they have the stones to post.(this is my ONLY post on this matter-either it happens or its dead)
 
Whats up guys! Heh if u dont play Evan would there be any chance me and u can match up on Tar for 5 or 10K ? I would play u 10ball or some 1pocket and would LOVE for it to be on Tar. Jay how are u sir? Im sure u can make something happen if so just post on here ok Corey or Jay let me know if u can play? And let me know if u cant play either Thanks Ryan

Dennis Hatch and Donnie Mills have challenged every American to play. So there you go.

I am sure that they would LOVE to play as well and we fans would LOVE to see it.

Classic Evan in my opinion :rolleyes:

I have collected over 30k in committed money, from very reliable people, to stake me + about 10k of my own if this game went off.

Evan knows very little, and proves it everytime he opens his mouth.

I used to like the guy and that may not change, I am not sure yet, but he picked the wrong battle this time.
