AZers post links to your pool videos.

Looks like it's quite common for AZers to have a video camera mounted somewhere near their pool table. I personally really enjoy watching the videos that AZers have made available on the internet. But I can't find any forum "collection" of these videos.

I'm just talking about AZers playing pool, not pro player clips that you've collected, and not your personal favorite sex videos. :)

I don't have one, or I'd start this off....

Thanks, SWC! At risk of getting a call from my network admin, I watched quite a chunk of these and will finish later when I'm on my own network.

I could be wrong, but I think I recall Bert saying that his #1 position shot is the most important to know. I never agreed with that, but I also recall reading an interview with Alison where she said the same thing, calling it a "stun" shot. Thing is, I have a very difficult time replacing the object ball with the cue ball, which is the objective of the shot. But over the years, there have only been a couple of times where I said to myself "I wish I knew how to execute Bert's #1 shot".

Never heard of throwing the cue, but can't wait to try it. Never heard anyone refer to a miss as a "b*tch" (that is what you're saying, right?) and I don't recall ever being or knowing a "schnook". :)

Very informative and entertaining... thanks for your response!

Shot #1 isn't a position shot really - although it can be in some circumstances (i see it all the time in 14.1 where you have to roll forward 3 or so inches from 5 feet away).

Just a center english shot where the friction of the cloth adds a HAIR of follow.

I meant nothing sexist with the b1tch your shot comment, I promise.

A schnook is a regular guy, someone who is prone to be a sucker. Someone stupid.... a working Joe. Not any of us, of course;)

I couldn't figure out why you said this shot wasn't a position shot, then after reading another thread about hitting center ball it dawned on me that it's an excellent way to fine tune your stroke. DUH! I can't believe I misinterpreted Bert's meaning for so many years.

Well, there's enough video in two replies to keep me busy for hours upon hours, and thanks to both of you for posting. But I know there's more!

Don't get me wrong, it IS a position shot sometimes. If you're a long ways out and you need to follow 3-4" to shoot your next shot through a hole in a muck, it's a position shot.

I filmed this to show that my break rak had helped my break shot:

This was the video submission for the recent cuetable contest:

Me shooting some wingshots:

I filmed my monitor for the final rack of the Shane Van Boening vs Alex P in the race to 100 so it's horrible quality but worth watching.

Here is a super quick one of a crazy trick shot that I invented:

There was a debate about the cue ball putting draw on object balls so I filmed this:
