Now that I am near a computer, I can start the second thread about AZers I met in Tulsa, too. :)

The One Pocket tournament was truly amazing! Great players, great matches, great atmosphere, great stream, great pool room, great tournament director!

I was surprised how many new AZers I hadn't met yet. I took a few photos, but not enough enough. Sadly, my SLR camera broke, so I have no photos of the players. Luckily ftgokie took some!

12Squared - awesome guy;
Hell on Heelz was my road partner;
Big Truck ran a great stream again! (thanks for letting me commentate!);
Cuephoric got to make it, too;
Richardson was a great guy and I kept him on his toes for a couple of days with a trivia question, lol;
GreyGhost;
garczar (sells cigars at Magoo's);
LoveTheGame;
The Coats (who graciously bought me a drink - thanks, Don!);
Jes Piddlin and CrownCues who are always so nice;
Samiel (Viet My) who is always SO nice and helpful!;
ftgokie (finally got to meet you!);
TxOnePocket who followed me there (j/k!); and
Grumpy who helped me sweat the Sylver / Jeremy Jones match.
I think I am missing one or two more. Sorry!

It was great to meet everyone and/or catch up with the AZB Friends I already knew. Loved the weekend! A great start to my Birthday celebration. :grin:

I didn't realize I met another AZBer - garczar! He was the one who was selling the shirts, for the other AZers that were there. :) I'll add you to the list, garczar. Nice to meet you!

You are a sweetheart & it was great meeting you. It's not everyday you meet someone that can talk about the weather and it's interesting :).

It was great meeting you, Big Truck, Hell on Heelz, 12Squared and Love the Game and seeing FtGOkie again in Tulsa. It was a great time, hopefully they will do it again next year. Damn, I am getting old, I was alway fat but now I am old an fat.

I had a blast in Vegas for my BDay! 'Cept I'm 23 now, not 21. lol! Yea, right! It was great to meet you also - can't wait for the next tourney there!

Melinda, I thought you were 22 :confused: Oh well, you dont look a day over 23 :)

And as far as Don being old and fat:eek: I dont know who I was talking to then, I couldof swore he said his name was Don ....except the don I was talking too was a very slender, muscular, handsome man....:p Don, you wear your weight well my friend :smilewinkgrin: Sorry to hear you had to stay around and beat him outta his hard earned money ;) :wave:

I really wish I could've made it for this event; I would have loved to hang out with all of you guys...My wife wouldn't let me go.

Thecoats, you look very familiar...Have you played at TP's in Midwest City before? Perhaps at the Regional One pocket Championship? I think you might be the guy who knocked me out of that tournament in '06 or
'07.

If I'm right, I'll take 11-2 now...I'm a little out of stroke...:grin-square:
