As most of you know, I try to be a good dude here on AZB. At times I will make small sweat bets while watching the Derby, or Expo.....

So last week a guy named Lance Titko contacted me trying to put down a bet on Stevie Moore. Normally I would not bet against Stevie, BUT...He gave me 1:5 to 1 on the money and he wanted Stevie against the field. I felt it was a good bet for me, so I took it........and luckily....I won,...he WELCHED!

Lance Titko IS BAD ACTION.......after a few un-answered E-mails I posted this before the Expo so any of you sweaters might not make a wager with this guy!

What do you expect from a guy named TITko?
Of course I would be careful betting with anyone named Helfart either.

that is nothing!!

Bad Action? He just sounds like a bad Gambler!!! 1:5-1??? lol

I'll give you 20-1 on the money if I am not going to pay if I lose anyway.

I had a guy named Rick Deeznuts welch on me 2.....lol!! Just kidn'
This is something that is easy to happen too unfortunately....
Don't worry about it, he just added a little more bad luck to what he already had....
Sorry to hear this...=(

I know I know, I hear you guys....the dudes name sounded like a bad porn star....BUT! a week or so after the DCC, I'm still in gamble mode so I took the bet.

Funny thing is....even tho I never heard of this chump, I was ready to pay off if I lost.....the 6 or 7 Vokas had NOTHING to do with it! :)

are you being serious?...honestly, I have no idea where the term comes from. Hopefully you all know I am the last person to start trouble here. If it is a slam on the UK folks....sorry....

FYI, I AM from Scots/Irish and Italian heritage, so....for what its worth...please dont take offense.

"Welch" and "welsh" are both in the dictionary, with similar definitions. "To avoid payment of a debt."

If the term was racist I'm sure he wouldn't use it. This place has enough sensitive people without adding one more.
BTW I'm offended by your post.

Racialists crack me up. How long did it take you to contact and obtain the opinion of all the people of UK descent? Were they all living or did you apply the ACORN method and add the deceased opinions as well? LOL

Hey, "people of UK" is mighty general in this discussion! From what I know, having married a Brit, the English and Scots would take ZERO offense to any slight on the good people of Wales, or their infamous soap operas. From what I can tell, they are regarded on the level of evil trolls who live under bridges in fairytales. OK, so my mother was half-Welsh. But I'm not bitter!:D
