Bad Joint Protectors made by Lonnie Wilber, he will not refund? what would you do?

Isn't this the Wanted and For Sale Forum? I haven't seen anything selling here. Should anyone really expect to get a Harley Davidson for the price of a bicycle??
 
Expecting a Harley for the price of a bicycle. Come on cueman, you need to go back to the beginning and look at the pictures again. It's more like expecting a 5 year old Honda for an ok price, and getting a picture of a rusted Schwinn!!! I understand your point, but even if he only paid $2.00 he should have received something better than those!

i didn't pay and hope i got a good set. i paid for something i was guaranteed would be made how i described and ordered it. so regardless of the price i paid i should not have recieved what i did even if i paid $5. and if not i should have got my money back. please read the post cueman. i was skeptical at first also when i was told the price but i practically badgered him asking him over and over to ensure he could make it, he told me he has done some inlay work prior on jp's and he guaranteed they would be made. plus being referred to by a seller here on this site and his feedback, it was worth a shot at the time to save some money. but as i learned that was a big mistake. he still has to right this wrong. we will see.
 
sorry to bring this back to life again but here is the conclusion, he still refused to refund me and instead he said he will send me 3 sets of jp's to make up for it, so i told him the three joints i wanted and i wanted them to be in a straight cylinder shape no ugly fu**ing curves. well got them and there not to bad, they are flush, same width, easy enough just plain wood. but guess what, THEY HAVE GOD DAMN CURVES IN THEM!!!!!! what the f**k is wrong with this guy and communication. i am done and washing my hands. i jus want everyone to know be aware of what he will promise if you hear about him or possibly deal with him. thank again to everyone. good bye

i will post some tonight. they ar enot to bed. the joints are flush the pins are the same size they are flush so his quality did get better although they were so easy caus they were just plain wood but they have those damn uneven curves.
 
I dont know how people can send out there work without a quality control. That is the worst joint cap I ever see. At least try to make a offer to remake new one or money back.............
 
bad bad bad work.............!!!!!

i too has been a victim of his joint protectors. I bought 2 sets of 3 pieces joint protectors from him. 1st set should be amboyna burl and 2 nd set is bocote and supposedly have an ebony base.

here are just the few that went wrong;
1. When I got them wood was awful!!! 2. ugliest ive seen in my life!!! 3. uneven in all angles. 4. did not fit the cue, not even close!! 5. finish was terrible (no enough words to describe) and some more...

finish is probable the worst ive seen in my life. I would have made an exception if the fitting was at least right on my cue. But, I was even more disapponted when I looked at them and found that they dont match the cue.

So, what I did with it, went straight to the trash can. Luckily I only paid about $20 something dollars for it. It still hurt my pocket though.

Please be aware to this joker lonnie. Guy is BAD DEAL in all aspect of wood works!!!!!!!!!

I bought 2 set of your JP's (1 3pc set of Bocote and 1 3pc set ofAmboyna burl with ebony base)

Your wood working is the worst ive seen in my life.

Here are just a few of the mess you created;

1st did not fit my cue
2nd not amboyna burl
3rd finish is awful
4th fitting was a disaster
5th ugly is not even enough words to descibe them
6th fu%&*#n unbelievable s**t
