Bala what

Nick, there looks like an inscription or stamp on the butt cap. Did George provide that?

Tim

The thing reminded me of my Balabushka that was stolen at the T Street Poolroom in Syracuse 41 years ago during the NYS Straight Pool Championship. Scary really. The wrap has to go. Black linen for me. Everywhere else it is the same to see and hold.
Blew me away. He built someone a clone of a Cue.
Nick :)

is this a balabushka?
I have seen several titleist conversions, but it is hard to tell from a picture

looks like nick got a good deal

best wishes to nickie
dean

It's a Scruggs Mr Dean

Never owned a Scruggs like it or seen one either. I looked down at it before I hit a ball with it and damn if I didn't swear I was holding my old Balabushka.
Dezhavoooooo, man it was like I was holding my old Cue.
Scary.
Nick :)

Way too long a butt sleeve for George. Wrong butt plate for George. Wrong bumper for George. George didn't put engraving on the butt plates. Why is there any wonder here...

So are you saying it HITS like a Balabushka or it IS a Balabushka? There is a slight difference.

It is a Scruggs

Very unusual build. And when I hold it I remember my Balabushka, How it felt and hit and looked in my hands. It made me say to my self Balla what?
On occasion Tim would if asked build cues for players that wanted to put up their Szams or Balabushkas.
I have had a Szam owner personally tell me I was buying just such a Cue from him. This Cue was likely for a Balabushka owner.
And it has rightfully found it's way to a previous Balabushka owner!
Nice.
Nick :)

Just out of curiosity, have you ever owned a Scruggs that wasn't super rare, one of a kind, a unique build, touched by God, the greatest thing since sliced bread... etc.???

Lol

Mia the entire worlds thoughts exactly , then the pics are removed, then it's for sale, then in 2 minutes he realizes it's the best Scruggs in the world and its no longer for sale pics deleted , then it's posted here two or three more times in the gallery, then listed for sale until it sells lol

Gotta say it works for nick though lol

Nick just has silver alert moments....

That's what it's called in Texas on the electronic freeway signs.

It gives a description of a car the highway patrol is
looking for because some old codger is on the road
with no clue where he is going..

I respect collectors opinions greatly

Posers go home?
I love these Cochran Cues.
They are rare.
They start at $8500 and are not for sale.
Play lights out.
Best hitting Cues on the planet.
Nick :)

How can I say that and be believed?
Well I am not selling anything here.

My name is Nick Serdula

I like the blue one for take out one pocket.
Lucky me,
Nick :)

Are these super-rare, "special builds" too?

First, this BS thread was trying to fool that a cue was a Balabushka. Then, the usual admission that it is a Scruggs. As a Scruggs collector, I don't like that he's dragged into this. Then, due to no fault of his own, Mike Cochran is dragged into this stupid thread. If you have a genuine cue of whatever, fine, post it with honesty. This, though, was pure BS from the start. Only sorry that Tim and Mike got dragged into a thread like this. They were great cue makers on their own. They didn't need to be the subjects of a "I might have a Bushka" thread.

Nick can't help himself, as you know.

I never said Balabushka

And if you held the Cue in your hand you would say it too. Tim built this Cue like this for a reason. Cash money. I also can say with certainty if you didn't put your Balabushka in his hand and ask Tim for something to put your Cue up you had no shot.
How many show us your Bushka crap threads have been on this board?
Well I didn't say Bushka. I said Bala what. And seems a few were as I surprised.
You say Bushka. Well god for you.
I change the rear on this Cue and what do you know.
Bala What?
You guys are way to full of yourselves. So now only you few are allowed to call a stick what it isn't.
Eat this.
You chosen few have all made chimps of yourselves.
Nick :)
