Balabushka/Adams

I inquired about a price through pm cause it is a nice looking cue and if the the price was right I might have bought it. Out of respect for the seller I wont reveal what I was told but it will be a shocker to those who inquire lol.

If this cue is worth all it's supposed to be due to the materials, and engineering, etc. post a price. Dont be scared. If you believe in your product as it seems you do then you shouldn't be concerned about what your asking for it. Let alone what other people are going to say. This is not a private sale of a real Balabushka. What is your price?

Our Wholesale Cost as stated $1,250 + Ship (By Money Order or Bank Draft)

To throw my $0.02 into the ring:

1 - It's not an original Bushka and IMHO that has been made clear from the onset.

2 - The cue is apparently something beyond the usual Adams-Balabushka knockoffs being made today.

3 - I won't at all disrespect the sale or the seller, so I'd guess the value to be somewhere between a used Adams-Bushka to that of a new Adams-Bushka, maybe even a bit more if we had better pics.

4 - My guess is just that.

5 - I would be interested in hearing what the cue is being sold for. This isn't an auction here.

I understand what your saying Kevin, however Robb wanted the cue to be built by the current trademark/copyright holder of the Balabushka name, hence the factory was selected. The project was complicated to get all the specs exacting, so their new model multi million dollar CNC was selected as well. The cue wasn't being massed produced and as only one was being built, and their engineers and prime builder were on top of it, so he selected to go that way.

So when you said,"be as close to an original Bushka that could possibly be built by anyone today"

you really meant, "wanted the cue to be built by the current trademark/copyright holder of the Balabushka name"

Seeing there is only one copyright holder that sort of narrows the field of who might best build this "tribute" to actually only one maker.

I'm not knocking the cue, its possibly the nicest Adam I've seen. My first cue was an Adam and it had the same joint collars/rings, although I think that Helmstetter's hand might have actually touched my old Adam.

The price doesn't seem that out of whack for a fancy and good looking Adam, but I haven't looked at that market much lately.

Thanks again

Kevin

Kevin:

Thank you-The cue is truely worth every bit of the number-Much detail and oversite was given to this cue as it was going to be my husband's
main gamer before he became ill. He wanted old school in a new cue and
he did get real picky on this one.

classic, timeless design.

You would have better luck selling this on ebay than here though. Just my opinion, I could and have been wrong before.

If they built it for $1250 as a wholesale item, I'm guessing that is a fair value to the right buyer....it is a very nice looking cue....

I'm a bit vexed as to why someone would wait a year and a half for a cue and then just sell it....

Regardless, good luck on your sale, the cue is very nice....

Ill haul it it away and only charge you $50.00 for my trouble
i think thats about the fairest offer a man could ever make
add $25.00 more if i have to take that case also you pay shipping thanks

Ps i dont take checks send me cash in advance before you ship it no wrinkled bills or there will be a $10.00 charge in addition

Who woulda thunk it?

If you think you're being funny, witty or even amusing... STOP NOW! I have no idea why you are even posting in this thread. At least she probably won't post it for one price and then after someone take's it and sends payment, suddenly decide that the price posted was incorrect and require MORE money to send the item... Now anyone want to guess who pulled that one?

That was you i rememeber now you changed your mind and raised your price i knew there was something about you

How could I raise "my price" YOU were the one selling? Please help me understand that one.

All that was "raised" what the amount I paid you for the item. I'm still mad at myself for falling for that one. I guess I was young and vulnerable.

Dear OP.. sorry for sidetracking your thread.

I think its very good for guys to argue with each other in other people's For Sale threads. Its one of the classier moves our community makes here at AZ.

Thanks

Kevin
