Ball Colors

As I watch more internet streaming than ever before.. a continuing problem for my eyes becomes more annoying. Am I the only one that has difficulty distinguishing which ball is which when the players/rooms are using Aramith Pro balls? The almost pink 4 ball is a particular problem for me.

I've contacted Aramith suggesting they make a more "video/viewer friendly" color scheme.

I am pretty sure thats why they came up with that color scheme. With the old style it was very hard to tell the 2 from the 4 and the 3 from the 7. Obviously an internet stream isnt normally going to have the best quality, unless its one of BigTrucks. Not sure what other colors could be used, there are only so many in the rainbow.

Use that zebra eight ball they used for tv eight balls, put a big white 2 and a big white seven on those balls.

Yes, the sets that include a pink 4 and a brown 7 are referred to as TV balls, intended for easier viewing.

My monitor color is fine. I can see even the slightest variations in that girl's skin tones.

Maybe you would have no problem distinguishing the 4 balls on streams if you studied them as hard as you do Luxury's avatar. :grin-square::grin::grin-square:

Just sayin'...

Actually, unless you have specifically set up your screen for photo editing, there is very little reason to believe that your screen is anywhere close to displaying accurate colors. Many LCDs cannot even be setup close enough for careful color editing of (digital) photographic images.

But unless you are a frequent visitor of photosites you probably don't know this.
