I just got done watching the Baltimore Bullet on dvd for the first time. Second best pool movie I've seen next to The Hustler..

Yeah first time I ever seen it.. I never even heard of the movie until two weeks ago..

Sugar, The blonde girl in the start of it sure is a fine lookin lady. :p

When are they going to make a good pool movie? It's been so long since The Hustler & this movie.

The Color Of Money was ok.. It's time for a good pool movie..

I love that movie. I have an old copy on VHS and watch it any time I get bored.

I agree it's a good flick. I just love seeing who I can pick out of the different scenes. There are allot of well known pool players in the background. I will have to say I will sometimes fast forward through the song Brown eyed Billy:p

I thought of Bruce Lee when the he/she started kickin in the room of mirrors. heh

I am watching it right now and I am just up to the Snow White fight part.

Pretty entertaining movie so far.:)

Omg - after I saw that movie for the first time and ran into Allen Hopkins, I asked him if he got to keep his wardrobe from the movie. He laughed!

I saw this movie as a kid with my dad. Sheesh.....

Fun movie though. Hey, it did have JAWS from the James Bond flicks, LOL.

I remember when the movie was made, here in southern California, and Wayne Norcross, who I played straight pool with for years and now runs my weekly tournaments, was hired to do the opening trick shots and shots for James Coburn.
I would have to vote the Color of Money the second best, but just a matter of opinion.

Generally, I am probably a pretty tough movie critic. Because a movie is about pool, or has some pool scenes in it, just isn't enough to get a "thumbs up" from me.

I just watched the movie, for the first time, a few days ago. Although I watched the entire movie, I couldn't rate it above a decent "B" class movie.

The movie, IMHO, lacked in every category; acting, casting, script, story line, music score, cinematography. Aside from a few good trick shots, and some entertaining scenes, there wasn't much there.

"The Hustler"....now we're talking.

uh,no it wasn't

If you have the Cincinnatti Kid, The Sting, Stickmen,Shade, any of these I'll trade with you..

The Cincinnatti Kid is a good movie, Shade was ok, and I never even heard of the other two until recently.

Born to lose, Born to win.... :p

Where'd you get it on dvd? Last time I saw The Baltimore Bullet was when Allen Hopkins loaned me his VHS copy. He told me that they actually got a tournament going on the movie set. Alot of great players in that flick.
