I went to both Big Daddy's and running out the yard and they're both closed

Running out been closed for a long time.

Is Big daddy's shutdown?? I could not find anything on the web to that effect? anyone knows?
 
Gee, Big Daddy's has only been there a few years. Rick is one of the good guys in the pool world. That pool room hosts tournaments for a lot of people. This is tragic for the local pool scene. :(
 
I was there last Fri also I talk to Rick on the phone last weekend he put Brett S in a tourney down here is S MD
Told me to come up and play some sets with him ,, I'm sure if he was closing he would have said something

Do you know for a fact it is closed for good !! Or just that evening?

I think big daddies was just closed last night. Running out was empty.

I know Rick & Cindy and was just with them the other night and they didn't say anything bout shutting down and pool room was open. I can tell you they close early most nights and sometimes very early if slow.
 
Running out has been closed. I shoot in a tourney every Tuesday night at Big Daddy's They are still open.
 
Top Hat should be busy today, I think they still have the 5 dollar pool special, from opening to 5 pm.

Will be headed up there soon, as I have the day off.

Jaden if you are still around give Top Hat a look.
 
Yup it gets crazy busy up there most days with that special. Was up there last week and literally every parking spot was taken and thats a decent size lot.
 
Glad to hear folks in the know believe big daddy's just closed early for the night.

I agree that rick and Cindy are a-ok. They do a lot for the love of pool and I would hate to see pool betray them.
 
Daddy's also had a daytime all you can play special similar to Top Hat and on days without the special if you play one pocket they actually give you 1/3 off of your pool time. I've never seen that anywhere before and thought that was really cool.

Here and present! I spent more time in Running Out Billiards in action, then anybody else that ever walked throught those doors, That includes my man VANOVER!

But MAN OH MAN i wish i could of played anywhere near Toms speed, i would of busted lots of people and places!

That's the wish of everyone that knows him. Dude is in his 70's, still looks great and still plays jam up. I need at least the 7 and the snaps and I still dont like it.

Tom is awesom thats for sure, i have to believe there isnt a pool player alive today that could hang with Tom Vanover age for age, playing any and all games!
