Great start. Shannon hits a 4 followed by Skyler's 6-out.

Busty drains two, them Justin hits 4.

I don't remember another bank ring game with so many 4+ right off the bat.

Anyone out yet. A couple occasional updates appreciated as I'll be asleep soon.

Skyler and Busty left. Some serious world class banking going on.

Both have had multiple 6 ball runs.

Skyler dominates the game with four or five sixes. Django played amazing, but Skyler was out of this world.

All I can say is wow! Best banks ring game I've ever seen. It's unreal how well Skyler Woodward played.

SKYLAR WOODWARD WINS AGAINST BUSTY! 1 OF THE BEST BANK GAMES EVER. KID IS AWESOME!!! THE BEARD SAYS BEST EVER HE HAS SEEN AND IS 73!

I'll chip in to get you a new keyboard, I know your caps lock is broken.

Freddy said the same thing about Bryan Greg, and so did Bugs.
I remember seeing a bank ring game before at DCC where the Greg guy unleashed what 11 banks in a row or 10, 12, something crazy.

Scott Frost and i did the commentary on the Ring Bank game. I have to honestly say that that was the best played Ring Game ever, and I have broadcast every one. That was absolutely the best banking I have ever seen -- by all the contestants -- in my whole career. Bustamonte played fabulous and lost! Skylar Woodward , who I predicted would not be able to stand up to Busty in the finals completely proved me wrong. Busty did everything that I figured he would do and applied extreme pressure with a devastating series of bank barrages -- but it was not enough! This young kid (20 yrs old?) shot the paint off of the balls and put on maybe the best bank performance that I have ever seen.
Mark my words, he will soon be the best bank pool player in the world.

That's a pretty strong prediction from THE bank king. I hope you're right Freddy. Under Mark's tutelage, combined with a good education and an improving landscape for pro pool - he'll have choices.

Congrats to Skyler! What a notch in his belt. Impressive!

Skyler's lined-up for Mosconi, right?

Not hardly

He's a great Banker/one hole player on the Big Table. Not so much a 9-baller. He is however a Great bar box player.

Read the action room banks thread like post 23 or 25 before it ever began. I told everyone in the room, he is a better ALL AROUND player then most of the top EUROS. He is a killer, but I'm not even sure he's our best young player all around. That may be Billy Thorpe. They are both top notch youngsters. They both do have a bright future.

But not Mosconi Cup. That's fantasy pool anyhow, we don't need to try and turn the 2 gamblers into tourney robots like the euros. There's a reason they both play the speed they do. They GAMBLE, get SEASONED at all aspects of all games. You cant do that in tournaments.

EDIT:
You cant think this was a surprise, can you? They did pay a $1k Entry Fee, he's no secret

Yeah, it's a surprise over his 5 accomplished opponents. At least to me.

I've only barely heard of Billy Thorpe as compared to Skyler, who's getting a lot of good mention lately.

you sure? i will read what you referenced - tomorrow, cause it's too late to focus now. but it still stands - Top 8 - bet?

My pick so far for MC are
SVB, Sky, Thorpe, Hunter, Bergman, and Pro 1's son...I can't think of his name at the minute. Johnnyt

PS:MC short races can be a lot of upsets.
