Need some experienced opinions please.
Here is my not so short list if cues under $100 with the exeption of the $140 Huebler. All prices include shipping.
Lucky by McDermott L1=$39
Players Rosewood sp=$49.55
Viking Valhalla =$52.94
Players S-PSPC Cocobolo=$54.85
Action Maple SP=$62.15
Action Zebrawood ACT39=$63.12
Players Zebra Hustler E-5100=$80
Mint Schmelke Cocobolo=$89.25
Players HXT4=$90
*Mint Huebler AS-H3=$140
Please pick the top two you would suggest on order of preference according to value for the money and if possible the reason for your decision.
Thank You for your help in advance.
Your time, knowledge and effort is greatly appreciated.

Can't go wrong with a Players cue, imo. In fact, I've still have my players jump/break - in use for 10 years now (god how time flies...). I've no desire to change it

I bought a Players 11 years ago and still use it as a break cue. Haven't played with any of the other cues but would have to say myself and everyone else I know who has a Players is pleased with the purchase especially for the price.

I took a few test shots with a viking vahalla in the store, I liked the way it looked and played...

Huebler...

Pay the $140 buy the Huebler and keep it for YEARS! you can't go wrong!

but if under $100... I would shoot the Viking, or Players.

I have two Players...

One is the rosewood Sneaky Pete (which I mainly use for breaking, but is a good shooter as well) and the other is a fancier no-wrap model with the HXT shaft.

I would recommend either as an affordable "bar cue" that plays well for the money.

I have a McDermott Lucky I take to the bars. It shoots good for $40... Definitely better than a house cue. Decent tip. But now that I shoot more all I want to do is buy a better cue with one of these low deflection shafts.
So I would say, if you've got the money buy the nicer one. If it was me I'd go with the Players cue with the HXT shaft. That's what I'd buy, I keep hearing really good things about them and it seems like they're putting out some high quality products now a days.

Hmmmmm. I could purchase the three least expensive cues on my list for what the Huebler would cost me.
If money wasn't so tight for me, I would purchase every cue on this list and picky favorite.
Anybody want to talk me out if the Viking?

lucky

I have a lucky that i will post pics of if you want , i have to send it in for warranty for customer,

With keeping everything on the light side I would hunt for a straight used,
D2 McDermott 125.00 have it cleaned and a new tip. your set, its cheap and it plays and holds its value.

When I was shopping for an inexpensive bar cue I went with the lucky because of the wood to wood joint and it was so affordable especially when I factored in the cost of a case. I'm definitely glad I got it because it got me back in the game without costing me the $300 I really wanted to spend. Now it's up to me to earn that "nice" cue...
The Valhalla by Viking is a decent cue that a buddy of mine shoots with. Pretty nice cue I guess but I like mine better cuz of the joint and wrap. I just gotta burnish the shaft and scuff the tip.
In the end I did what was best for my pocket book at the time. It just depends what's important to you. Hope I helped. Good Luck with your choice brother.

Pics please. Thanks

pic of cue being sent in for warranty

Very common problem with cheap cues. A good roll of irish linen cost more than the cue does. Lets dont make this into a cue bashing thing.
It will be warranty as far as i know. < thats the best you can ask for in a cheap cue.
