Bar Table Dennis Vs SVB Updates

Shane breaks and makes one ball. The 4 nudges the 9 and almost blocks Shane from seeing the 2, but Shane makes it and runs out to make it 111-69.

Not at all, sorry Stu for it conveying things clearly. I’m still learning to write. I have worked hard over the years on my writing and there’s room for improvement. It’s got better but still a long ways to go!

As always my very very best to you!

Eric-the real me, not Fatboy in this post.
It has gotten a ton better!

Shane breaks and Here's a first, dry break for Shane. Shane went 111 breaks before dry breaking. Dennis has an open shot and runs out the 1 and 2 but then gets a little weird next the the rail on the 3 with a slightly off angle. He elects to cinch the 3 and take the natural shape for the 4 which is pretty thin. He makes the 4 and goes down table and back to get shape on the 5. Dennis gets a little straight on the 7 but just rolls forward for the eight and gets out to hit 70 games. 111-70.

Dennis breaks and makes 4 balls on the break, he has an open, longish shot on the 1 and rattles it into the pocket down table. He goes a little far getting shape on the 5 and has to come around the table for the six. He does so and gets out. 111-71.

Dennis breaks and makes 2 balls. He has a wide open table and I don't foresee any trouble. There's not and he gets out 111-72.

Dennis breaks and makes only one ball with one ball past the head string. Shane doesn't have an open shot on the 2 and elects to jump over the 8 and makes the 2 but clips the 8 on the way giving Dennis bih.

The 4 is close to the eight and I'm not sure if the 6 has the best pocket for it open since the 7 looks to be in the way. Dennis takes care of that by making the 4 and knocking the six down for the side with perfect shape on the 5. Dennis finishes off the rack to make it. 111-73.

I did get to actually go play today. Got a couple of hours in. I was actually surprised at how well I was playing. I hadn't touched a cue in at LEAST 2 months and I started out running 3 or so racks of 10 ball.

After a couple of hours my shoulder started to hurt so I decided not to over do it. I'll build up to the longer sessions over time so I hopefully don't throw out my back or anything. Maybe this Friday I'll play in the open 9 ball tourney.

p.s. looks like they took a break.

Dennis breaks and makes a ball on the break, well two balls, but one of them was the cb. Shane takes bih and stops to take a look at the 6 which doesn't have an easy pocket because of its' proximity to the nine. Shane plays a combo on the 8 and it looks like he's setup to break out the 6 from the 9 on this shot, which he does; however, it doesn't have quite enough ummph and he doesn't come as far as he'd like to have for the 4.

He thin cuts the 4 and makes it but comes back down table too far and he is forced to bank the 5. It misses by a hair off of the titty and comes to an awkward position for Dennis. Dennis attempts to thin it to the long rail and send the cb two rails to the other long rail hiding behind the 6,9, but it doesn't have the strength to make it.

Shane thins off it knocking the 5 behind the 6,9 and sending the cb two rails trying to get behind the 7. He doesn't quite get there and Dennis can see a sliver of the 5. He makes a good hit and attempts to safety him back down table behind the 7 also. He leaves Shane a sliver and Shane almost cuts it in, but the shape he got on the 6 leaves Dennis hidden from the 5. Dennis tries to masse around the 6 and does so going rail first to make the 5. He leaves himself a back cut on the 6 which he makes with decent position on the 7. He doesn't like trying to hold up off of the 7 for the 9 and tries to go up and down table but comes up short leaving a tough cut on the 9. Fortunately, he DOES make the thin cut on the 9 and makes the score 111-74.

Thanks, I’ve worked hard on it.

I’ve always been well spoken and relied on that forever. I realized there was a huge disconnect between my ability to speak and write. What I didn’t realize is how hard it is to do one and not the other. They are 2 completely different skill sets. One came easy, the other I’ve had to work on. Trying my best to improve more.

Dennis breaks and ALMOST scratches in the side. The cue caroms off of the 4 and hangs up in the side, but he may be titty hooked from seeing the one. Dennis is looking at a kick shot on the 1 so it appears that he IS titty hooked. Instead of the kick he pushes out a few inches. Shane plays safe on the 1 sending the cb up table behind the 5, but Dennis may be able to see a portion of the 1.

He's got the jump cue so probably not. He attempts a jump bank but double kisses the 1 and comes down table leaving Shane an open shot and an open table. Shane gets out to get back on the board. 112-74.

before you even had said you were trying to improve I could tell the difference. I was wondering if you had someone else typing at first.

IDK what the record is but 111 wet breaks in a row is pretty strong on any equipment. Wow!

I still can’t type without looking

that’s something I’ll never be able to learn, like spelling.

lol

best regards😍😍❤️🙏🏼

Shane breaks and makes 2 balls on the break. He makes the 2 but gets a little funny on the 3, but makes it look easy in typical Shane fashion. Shane finishes off the rack to get to 113-74.

Shane breaks and makes 2 balls on the break with the one holding up in one corner. The rack looks wide open and I don't foresee him having any difficulty with this one. He gets an odd angle on the 7 and has to come around the table for the 8 and then is a little funny on the 8 and has to come around the table for the 9. He ends up on the 50 yard line but cinches the 9 to make it, 114-74.

what specific tournament were you thinking of playing in?

Shane breaks and makes 2 balls on the break, but I'm not sure if he can see the 3 to make it or not. The 4 ball near the cb and the 6 near the 3 make the window tiny.

Shane doesn't care, he'll just cross bank it full table. He doesn't get great on the 4 and elects to play a jam up safety, sending the 4 to the rail and jamming the cb between the 7,9.

Dennis jumps the ball from mm's away and makes an astounding hit on the 4. He leaves a long shot for Shane and it rattles in the corner. Dennis makes the 4 and draws back for the 5 but doesn't appear to like where he's at. He makes the 5 but ends up close to the 50 yard line on the 6. He makes it and comes around three rails for shape on the 7 and doesn't appear to really like that shot either. He makes the 7 but has to carom the 9 and it rolls down and blocks enough of the 8 that he can't make it. He tried to throw it in with inside but there just wasn't enough of it there.

Shane gets out to make it 115-74.

Shane breaks and makes one ball on the break with only one ball passing the head string, making it a non-compliant break. Dennis doesn't have an open shot on the 2 but uses side spin off the back rail to carom it into the corner. It looked good, but hangs up and Shane doesn't have an open look at it. Shane eyes up a kick but even if he makes it with the 3 where it's at, it will be hard to control for position.

Shane tries to baby it and it goes a little wide hitting the foot rail and the 3 prior to the 2, giving Dennis bih. Dennis makes the two and tries to ease the 3 to hold up two rails for the 4 and the 3 hangs up in the pocket. Shane makes the 3 but hits the 7 and it rolls up to the 6 potentially keeping the 6 from going in the side. It does go in the side and Shane runs out to make it 116-74.

It seems now like these guys are going in game streaks back and forth.

Shane breaks and makes 3 balls on the break but it's hard to tell if the 2 can pass the 4 into the corner. He may be able to back cut it into the other corner. He does back cut it into the other corner and makes the 5 also leaving himself a thin back cut on the 4. He makes the 4 and comes around the table for the 6 and runs out to make it 117-74.
