Bar Table Dennis Vs SVB Updates

Shane breaks and makes 2 balls leaving himself with a great shot on the 3 and an open table. Looks like it'll be another bnr for Shane. He ends up jacked up over the 8 while shooting the 7 and comes back right up on the 8. He may still be able to cut the 8 in the side though and he DOES!!!! He leaves himself long on the 9 but pots it anyways. 118-74.

Is the show over yet? The boys got a plane to catch to TX. Nice to see SVB entered in the 1P event.

Shane breaks and makes one ball on the break. He doesn't have a shot on the 2 so he plays a jam up safety locking the cb into the 3,9. Dennis makes a great two rail hit on the 2 jacked up over the 3,9 but leaves Shane an open shot. Shane makes the 2 and comes around to play a safe on the 3. He gets safe, but not the lock up safe he intended and Dennis has a one rail kick at the 3.

Dennis hits the 3 and manages to hide the cb behind the 4. Shane hits the 3 and leaves an open shot for Dennis, but his nudge on the 4 put it rigth against the 6 and it doesn't seem to have an open pocket. He's also almost straight in on the 3, making a break out shot on the 4 difficult as well.

Dennis cinches the 3 and rolls forward to be able to see part of the 4 and plays a safe back behind the 6 with the cb while sending the 4 down table. Shane kicks off the 4 and caroms in the 7 but is left with little on the 4 but a long rail bank or safety. He tries the safety but it eeks out giving Dennis a shot.

Dennis makes the 4 and plays a beautiful breakout on the 5 which was hidden by the 8. Dennis makes the 5 in the side and runs out to get to 75 games. 118-75.

Dennis breaks and makes one ball on the break but can't see the 1. Even seeing the 1 wouldn't do him much good since it's blocked by the 2. Dennis pushes out but with the 1 on the 2 at the angle it is, a safety from Shane becomes easy and he does, but he leaves a one rail kick safe, which Dennis executes well.

The cb sneaked out though and Shane is able to thin the one and hide it behind a cluster of balls and when Dennis shoots at and hits the 1, the cb caroms into the drink and Shane gets bih. Shane plays a 1,3 combo to free up the cluster and appears to get good enough shape to make the 2 which is partially obscured by the 6. He does and aside from a longish shot on the 4, the rack looks done.

It is and Shane goes to 119.

Shane breaks and makes 2 balls but the cb catches the side titty and bounces back behind the 8,9 to obscure the 3 and force a pushout. Shane pushes to a jump shot and it looks like Dennis is tired of giving Shane back his pushes and tries it himself unsuccessfully, giving Shane bih.

Shane has a Tom Cruise runout from here and gets out with ease. 120-75.

Anyone know what the big drama in the pool world is? The announcer mentioned it but didn't divulge... and I don't do fb.

Shane breaks and makes 3 balls while coming close to making 6. He might have a tough cut in the side on the 4 but I'm not sure.

He played a safe sending the 4 one rail downtable trying to get behind the 7,8 and sending the cb to the back rail behind the 9.

Dennis breeaks out the jump cue and manages to hit the 4 but caroms off of it into the corner with the cb. The nine does roll over by the 5 making it more difficult but Shane thin cuts it in the side and narrowly avoids scratching in the opposite side. He does get out though. 121-75.

Shane makes 3 balls on the break with shape on the 3. He runs out in a total of about 35 seconds. 122-75.

Shane breaks and makes 3 balls on the break again. He doesn't have an easy shot on the 2 and may elect to safety. He tries the safe and he may have squeeked by hiding it behind the 6. Dennis gets out the jump cue but can't have to jump more than a sliver of the 6. He makes the jump but knocks the 8 between the cb and the 4.

He attempts to jump the 4 but doesn't make it and leaves Shane an open shot to the side. Shane runs out. 123-75.

Shane is 2 games away from increasing his lead to 50 games. Shane again makes 3 balls on the break and has an open shot on the 3. He force follows 3 rails to come around and get shape on the 4 in the side and then runs out the last 4 balls banking the 9 to add insult to injury to make it 124-75.

Shane makes 2 balls on the break and is left jumping over the 8 to get to the 2. He makes the 2, but it's right on the rail and the cb bounces off the table giving Dennis bih.

Dennis runs the table with bih and gets to 76. 124-76.

Dennis makes two balls on the break but the one stays on the table. Dennis will have to play a 1,5 combo or carom the 1 in off the 5. It appears he elected to do the latter and the 1 hangs in the pocket. Shane is forced to go rail first to make the one but it proves to be too deep in the pocket and he misses it entirely, and runs around the table missing all the balls and scratching in the far corner. Dennis has an open table and he takes advantage of it. 124-77.

Dennis makes one ball on the break and may be able to see enough of the one to throw it into the corner. He makes the 1 and rolls a little too far and has to back cut the 3. He makes the 3 and doesn't try to do anything fancy for the 4, he plays natural shape rolling past the 4 and playing it all the way down the long rail. The rest of the table is ran with ease. 124-78.

Dennis breaks and makes two balls on the break, but the balls cluster by the magic rack and he has no shot on the 2. This will be an interesting rack. Dennis pushes to the rail and Shane does a long rail bank on the two with great shape on the 3. If the seven goes past the 9 this rack is over. Shane plays shape on the 7 like it doesn't go and then plays a 7,9 combo with collision induced throw like it was wired..lol 125-78.

Shane's already half way for the day to finishing this match off.

I'm eating, so I'm going to skip a few racks of commentary...
