I was lucky enough to communicate with the original owner and purchase his Szamboti he had built by Barry in 2002 as verified by the letter of authenticity He kept it in pristene condition and it has been played very little. It plays very well also as all of my Barry's do. Sorry in advance for the so so pictures. When I figure out how to move the thread over to for sale this one may go away to make room for another.

That OB shaft kind of muddies up the beauty!

Nice cue! Very clean for a 25-year-old

This is an excellent and very rare Barry. Less than a handful have been made with the red veneer theme in the buttsleeve. Congratulations!

My thoughts too Ideologist.

I like it better than most I have seen, it is a simple and classy looking cue.

Nice, very nice. One that I would buy myself.

cue

I have never owned a shaft like that. It was just part of the whole package that he had put together when he owned it so I kept it all together. I'll have to pull it out and hit with it and see how it feels.

i bought a Gus in a pool room in Phoenix on my way home from Las Vegas
in the first year or so that Barry started making cues

The cue was basically like this one as I remember,It had red boxes and the 3 piece diamond

it was the first one I had seen,so I had Barry make me an exact replica,I sold both father and son
cues so I don't remember the exact complete design

it is still the only one with the 3 piece diamond that i ever had,

I like it,and admire yours,at first I thought it was mine
