Barry Szamboti Cue

Aloha Alton,

Gorgeous cue! I can't believe I'm not seeing some Cue Caps with gold hearts on that rascal :D !

Best regards,

Steve

Man,I wish I could pull a cue or three like those outa my safe. Alton, tell Aki I got a box of cues for Him like he bought from me at the Derby! Hey,one of them Tads looks like it is loaded up with Ivory.

Nice cue

I actually saw this cue a few years back when I was in Hawaii... Looked amazing! Good luck with sell.

I guess you just never know. Time will tell. If we're all alive in 20 to 30 years we might say. "Damn that cue was only 30K" Beautiful cue though.

Sure Sean.....How's these TADs........
Thanks for all the post.....everyone....
My thoughts are: There are different catagories of cue collecting..
There are 1. Famous Cuemakers 2. Celebirty Cues 3. Theme Cues (Like P.Motty's Ivory Handled- Marine Life Cue, Butterfly Cue, Horse Racing Cue...) and Fantacy Cues(McDermott's)stuff that are not really usable.
This cue would be one of Barry's rarer cues. Yes, Rarer than his 6 and 8 Point Cues. The ultimate Barry cue is his "Tribute To My Dad" Cue.....IMO

Hello,
That is a stunning cue... Barry's cues are a super investment and are sure to keep going up.. A Szamboti with gold is definitely at a premium..
Good Luck with your sale..
PS... If you had a Barry 6 pt that would be the rarest.. Since he hasn't made one yet.. I'm still crossing my fingers..
Best,
Ken

I was lucky enough to see the Barry cue in person along with Tads while my family was in Oahu. Brian actually took me back in his office showed me some of his stuff and then gave me a couple of Hawaiin Brian's t-shirts. He was a great host.

Nothing but COMPLIMENTS

AWESOME CUES MR. Too bad, the only thing i can afford right now is...TO DROOL......

when is the next Aloha Open?

a week ago i passed by him the idea of making my order a six pointer which would have been amazing and he said he doesn't make them. that's fine though. he knows my true desire was to have the cue he will bring back "from the fire"!:)

i never thought i'd see this cue being up for sale. it was always such a showroom piece at brian's. it's prominently displayed in the pro shop window and comes with a lengthly description of the materials and history of th cue.

apparently, based on the description, this cue is one of 2 ever created by barry to have gold hearts. everyone else opted for the peacock design. i guess that adds to the value.

This Barry cue is like perfect, colors,design,workmanship... what an awesome cue. Good fortune with the sale. Barry is a super master cue maker and a living legend.

Very nice looking cue.
Where is the cue presently located (country would be adequate)?
At one time, it was viewable on the web but that site is no longer current.

Thanks for posting the picture.

Alton, Do you accept credit card payment for your cue caps? Let me know if you do and I will take care of my order.
